"Alright then.. The ones who will follow me into the abyss please wait outside the rest apart from miss are free to go"
Mayu got up in a hurry and headed outside the office.
"Mayu!". Mr.Toshi called out to her.
Mayu stopped but didn't face him, looking quickly at the ground. Mr. Toshi noticed this and instantly knew she was upset.
"Are you mad?".
Mayu didn't look up and only responsed.
"Don't you wanna know why I didn't raise up my hand?. The reason is pretty simple,I don't won't to die a meaningless death. I don't wanna throw away my life like you and mom!".
Mr. Toshi knew that Mayu always thought that Mayu always thought that her mother had died a meaningless death. Killing an SS rank monster and getting killed in the process,worst of all the public never knew of this.
"Listen here Mayu,I will come back,I promise. If I don't go,thousands of people will die. The people must come firs-".
"I don't even say that word!. You think you're so righteous!,you and mom!. But you're all stupid!,what about me and Yuki!. You're going to die and you know it!".
Mayu yelled interrupting Mr.Toshi,tears forming in her eyes. She fell to her knees, crying. Mr. Toshi wrapped his arms around her. He gently wiped away her tears.
"I promise,I will come back to you and Yuki. Until then,take care of him for me. Tell him I'm sorry for being so harsh on him,I only wanted him to be strong enough to protect himself".
"Yukio, it's time to go". The red haired woamn said.
"I'm coming Ae-Cha". Mr. Toshi responsed. He left go of Mayu and stood up.
Ae-Cha removed her glasses.
"Miss Mayu,HA has a new mission for you. The files will be sent to you later. I also want you to take care of a kid for us. He is the little brother of Jeff,he has a weak heart. So if he asks about Jeff just says he's on a trip. Thank you".
Mr.Toshi suddenly remembered the dairy and necklace.
"Come sweetheart,get up".
Mayu wipes away her tears and stood up,Mr.Toshi then handed her the necklace and dairy.
"Go take care of Yuki. Goodbye for now".
Mr. Toshi followed Ae-Cha and they got into a black van along with the other hunters, heading back to the abyss. Mayu got into her car and drove off to the hospital,when she got there she found out Lisa was awake.
