Chapter 24 - Uchiha Goes to War

The Uchiha Clan's compound.

Takeshi saw a figure from afar, exuding an imposing aura.

"Father."

He walked forward and asked, puzzled, "Why are you here?"

"I just came from Hokage-sama's office."

Genna Uchiha walked forward, not looking back as he said, "The front lines are very tense."

Takeshi was stunned, not understanding what his old father meant by suddenly bringing this up.

"So?"

"Hokage-sama wants our Uchiha to go to battle."

Takeshi frowned slightly; he didn't trust that old man.

They hadn't sent the Uchiha to the front lines initially, so why were they suddenly remembering them now?

Could it be some kind of conspiracy?

He remembered that Hiruzen Sarutobi had two Hokage Advisors named Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu by his side.

They were known as Konoha's think tank, but in reality, they were parasites of Konoha who only cared about their own interests.

Not only did they mess up Konoha, but they also helped Danzo develop the Root's influence, effectively stripping the Hokage of his power.

They even played a significant role in the tragic Uchiha Clan massacre.

In the original work, they even opposed Tsunade's decision to have Naruto return to save the day and demanded the Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki be imprisoned.

It could be said that these two old folks were completely detrimental to Konoha, utterly disgusting.

They were like rats in the gutter, colluding with Danzo.

Could their hands be in this as well?

Sure enough, not long after Genna Uchiha left, a Ninja wearing a cat-faced mask suddenly appeared beside Takeshi.

"Danzo-sama requests your presence."

A member of Root?

Takeshi looked at the Ninja in front of him, dressed exactly like an Anbu member, and felt a hint of surprise.

He hadn't expected Danzo to have created Root so early, even infiltrating the Anbu.

Heh, to say that this didn't have the Third Hokage's tacit approval, he wouldn't believe it.

One could only say these two old guys were truly in love!

Takeshi followed him.

The reason was simple: he suspected that Danzo was involved in this Uchiha matter, or even that Danzo was the mastermind.

He still remembered that old man had sought him out before.

At that time, his attitude was undeniably forceful; he actually wanted to compel him to work for him.

Takeshi naturally wouldn't indulge him and directly sent him away.

Perhaps from that moment, that old man Danzo harbored resentment towards him, and coupled with his existing animosity towards the Uchiha, he would be even less likely to let him go.

Presumably, this summons also carried an element of coercion.

However, Takeshi was not afraid of him.

Just a while ago, Takeshi was stimulated again and unexpectedly awakened his Mangekyo.

Perhaps it was due to his obsession with longevity, which led his awakened Mangekyo to also have a time-related ability—Time Compression.

His left eye could cast Genjutsu, causing the affected person to experience a distortion in their sense of time, making days feel like years or a year feel like a fleeting moment.

The principle was actually the folding and stretching of time.

His right eye worked similarly, but this was a temporal intervention on objective events and targets.

For example, it could locally delay the occurrence of an event—like a Tailed Beast breaking its seal.

This would buy a window of time for intervention.

Or, he could activate the ability on himself, shortening the time required to reach a target distance, compressing it to seconds or even milliseconds, which would be a true Flying Thunder God Technique!

It was even more formidable than the Flying Thunder God Technique!

It could be called "Word of God: Instant!"

One could imagine that Minato Namikaze, simply by relying on the Flying Thunder God Technique, could already wreak havoc on the battlefield and achieve the position of Hokage.

And Takeshi's ability was a perverted, enhanced version of the Flying Thunder God Technique; he could speed up time, shorten time, and even cause you a chaotic sense of temporal distortion.

Just tell me if you're scared, just tell me if you're going to die?

This ability was simply monstrous!

Coupled with Takeshi's ability to summon a complete Susanoo, once this giant was activated, it would directly rampage across the battlefield.

He was practically invincible.

His strength was definitely Kage-level.

And Danzo?

He was simply a useless piece of trash.

What did he truly possess that was his own?

Wood Release: Violent Tree Spear?

This was an offensive and defensive Ninjutsu he only possessed after transplanting hashirama cells.

However, Nawaki was not dead yet, and Orochimaru had not been stimulated; he was still diligently aspiring to become Hokage.

Why would he participate in human experiments with you?

And he certainly wouldn't transplant hashirama cells for you!

Izanagi?

The prerequisite for using this was the Uchiha Clan's extermination, with enough eyes for you to dig out and use.

But with Takeshi around, he could forget about it.

As for Kotoamatsukami?

Uchiha Shisui hadn't even been born yet; where would you get the eyes?

Without these several monstrous Ninjutsu, Danzo's strength was almost directly cut by seventy percent.

The remaining thirty percent was his own, at best, Jonin level.

And Takeshi had already reached Jonin level strength when he awakened his Three-Tomoe Sharingan at the age of six.

Now, after receiving an epic upgrade, crushing a Jonin was like child's play.

Taking another step back, even if Danzo had already carved the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Jutsu on himself and planned to self-destruct to take Takeshi with him when they got close.

Takeshi also had a solution.

Don't forget his Mangekyo had the ability to stretch and compress time.

As long as he used his right eye's time extension ability on Danzo, delaying that seal for another year or two.

His sealing Jutsu would become completely useless.

Takeshi only needed to seize this opportunity to finish him off, and the problem would be safely resolved.

So, currently, Danzo was truly no match for him.

"You two stand guard at the entrance. No one is allowed to enter without my permission."

Not long after, a cunning and profound brown-haired man walked in from outside.

He had a distinct 'X'-shaped scar on his chin.

At this time, Danzo Shimura had not yet transplanted all sorts of strange things onto himself as he would later, so he still looked relatively normal.

Of course, he was also very weak.

"Do you know why I called you here?"

Danzo Shimura sat opposite Takeshi, the wrinkles on his face subtly moving, giving him a shrewd and calculating air.

"Oh? Why?"

Takeshi showed an intrigued expression.

He really wanted to see what tricks this old man was up to now.

In the original work, Danzo Shimura was a treacherous villain who would stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

He always used the slogan of protecting Konoha but engaged in actions that harmed Konoha.

He longed to become Hokage but cowered at critical moments.

When Second Hokage Senju Tobirama was attacked by the Hidden Cloud Village, he hesitated out of fear of death and did not step forward, leading to Hiruzen Sarutobi, who bravely stood up, being chosen by Tobirama as the next Hokage.

As a result, this guy truly believed that the only reason he didn't become Hokage was because of that moment.

He held a grudge about it ever since, and even during the Third Hokage's reign, he still coveted the Hokage position.

He even committed the despicable act of attempting to assassinate the Third Hokage.

But in reality, Hiruzen Sarutobi had already been internally designated as Hokage during the First Hokage's era.

In terms of background, Hiruzen Sarutobi was a disciple of both the First and Second Hokage.

In terms of prestige, Hiruzen Sarutobi was known as the 'Professor of Ninjutsu' at that time.

In terms of strength, Hiruzen Sarutobi was proficient in five different Chakra natures and skilled in all of Konoha's Ninjutsu.

And Danzo Shimura?

The only thing he could boast about was probably the Shimura Clan.

However, Hiruzen Sarutobi also had the Sarutobi Clan behind him.

Therefore, there was no comparison between the two.

Furthermore, a person who constantly talks about Ninja self-sacrifice but fails to deliver when truly needed is simply not fit to be Hokage.

If one were to believe his words, the outcome would only be like Uchiha Shisui, ending up with his eyes gouged out.

Takeshi would not fall into his trap...
