Adrien and I rushed out of the warehouse the moment that message came in. My mind was spinning so fast that I could barely hear anything else around me.
All I could think about was Serena. How did he get a picture of her? Who let him into the villa? What of my men? How was he able to overpower all of them? There was no way he infiltrated without being seen—George would have informed me once he spotted a possible breach in the security system.
So many questions plagued my mind as I made my way to the car with a type of speed I didn't think was possible.
I got into the car and slammed the door shut. Adrien got in beside me while dialing the team stationed at the villa.
"They're not picking up," he said.
I started the engine. The tires screeched as I pulled out of the warehouse yard.
My foot stayed firm on the accelerator. The more seconds passed without getting through to my men, the more I was getting more and more frustrated.
"Try again!" I snapped.
