Chapter 38 - Chapter 38

"Tony, we've known each other a while. I've got a gift for you," Leon smiled.

"A gift?"

Tony blinked. "What kind of gift?"

Leon raised his palm. Countless runes gathered, weaving themselves into a glowing contract. He grinned. "Sign this, and you'll see."

Tony Stark hesitated only a heartbeat, then said, "Got it."

He signed his name without further fuss.

The contract sealed.

In an instant, Tony felt his body surge with strength.

Ikaris's super strength, super speed, and super durability—installed.

Then Sersi's matter-conversion.

And Phastos's fabrication ability—assembling anything from whatever materials were at hand.

As the wave of capabilities settled in, Tony's face broke into unabashed delight. "This—this is… incredible!"

He actually flipped into a handspring, eyes blazing with excitement.

He didn't care that much about the raw super strength, speed, or durability. What really mattered was Sersi's matter-conversion. What did that imply? He could forge an Iron Man suit from Vibranium with ease—and even alter Vibranium's properties at will.

Then there was Phastos's power: turning anything on hand into anything needed.

Sersi reshapes materials; Phastos fabricates devices.

For Tony, that combo was a dream pairing.

So long as he understood the principles, he could conjure any device he needed—on demand. Paired with Sersi's ability, in theory, with enough knowledge he was practically an omnipotent god.

In the hands of the Eternals, those gifts had been totally wasted.

Of course, this "godhood" ultimately answered to Leon.

If Leon wished, he could reclaim the powers at any time.

But there was no need. Tony's greatest strength was his mind. Leon was genuinely curious what kind of armor Tony would craft now with those two abilities in play.

After a bit of chatting, Leon sent Tony off to rest.

Then Leon lifted both hands—and two weapons appeared.

Thena's ability: manifest weapons out of thin air.

They hit surprisingly hard.

In Leon's hands, they were more than "decent." Once he poured ki into the conjured blades, their lethality jumped tenfold and more.

Good tools—if you have the right user.

To Leon, the Eternals' battle power was trash; but their abilities were useful. Illusions were a bit niche, but the speedster's boost and the healer's restoration both had their place.

Still, all ten together? Leon found them boring.

What could he say—after Endgame, the MCU really did nosedive.

Leon began prepping to devour Tiamut.

Perhaps sensing the Eternals' disappearance, Tiamut stirred. Earth answered with quakes and disasters—a clear anomaly.

Leon, however, kept waiting.

Waiting for the full moon.

Devouring Tiamut… who knew if that guy would suddenly awaken?

At four million battle power, Leon would get toyed with by ten million.

So he'd wait for the full moon, to trigger the Saiyan surge.

Forty million versus ten million—cake.

Sure, he could make a faux full moon, but it wouldn't grant the perfect tenfold boost. He needed the real thing.

So he waited.

He recalled every clone.

Battle power: four million, four hundred fifty thousand.

At last, the full moon rose!

With the Ancient One watching his back, Leon lifted his head to the round, radiant moon. His body swelled violently.

More and more—until a bestial roar ripped the sky.

Leon became a towering Great Ape, hundreds of meters tall.

Ever since devouring Gor on Planet Pura, his transformation scale had changed. No longer a mere twenty-meter form—this was a colossal behemoth measured in hundreds of meters, with terrifying, multiplied strength.

It probably wasn't the Saiyan cells alone. Maybe it was the Namekian cells—or even Majin Buu's cells—interacting.

High above, the Eye of Insight watched.

Through its feed, every connected command center fell silent.

A Great Ape, hundreds of meters tall. No one expected Leon could turn into something so fearsome.

No readouts were necessary—his sheer size screamed catastrophe.

Nick Fury swallowed. "He's… that strong?"

U.S. President Matthew Ellis glanced at General Ross. "Status on Project Seven? Can our engineered soldiers match that?"

Ross gave a wry smile. "At present… we're still trying. His cells—his genes—are too strong, sir. We… can't guarantee anything."

Ellis's gaze returned to Leon. "This man is terrifying."

And now, every major nation on Earth had the live feed.

The entire planet… erupted.
