..
..
..
[1 year later, after Kanessa came to the Cindra continent]
---KRISH'S POV----
{elvie}->"Ugh... isn't it more humid than usual?"..
{krish}->"yeah..it is".I replied to Elvie.
We were currently sitting under the great tree, teaching Elvie about organic chemistry... and some physics....she actually learnt inorganic chemistry in a year...when I asked Jeff to conduct a quiz..
[{jeff}...99/100...congratulations, Ms. Elvie]
{elvie}->"What do you think, Krish?" she asked me with her orange eyes shining like a jewel.
{krish}->" oh!...y-yeah...good job"
Elvie, you are a certified chemistry genius.
Oh! by the way...A year has passed since my body reconstruction incident..
The shock is I'm going to live way longer than my parents....thinking of it is making me so depressed..
At least Elvie will be alive after my family is gone, so I moved on and decided to spend a little more time with my parents.
If this was bad news, then the good news is my mother got pregnant the same day I knew my lifespan had increased.
The news overjoyed my father...
Me??.. I'm not surprised since they were lively every possible night...making me sleepless, and only to be woken up early by Mira.
For me, this was way too good news...I can sleep at night with any impure thoughts..
{elvie}->nice to meet you..
I introduced Elvie to my parents as my friend..
It was her green hair that caught their attention first.
{krish}->mother...
{sera(kris's mother)}->"eh?..yeah..sorry"
Pinching my father back to reality.
{sera}->right?...nice to meet you too, Elvie...treat this as your home...
My mother said, smiling...whispering to my father to do so..
After that, we began meeting more freely. She would come to my house to know how to read and write...
Well, in this world, knowing how to write was a great achievement, especially for commoners..
Just like that.. After a few months...my mother's delivery date has arrived..
I did almost everything I knew from the knowledge from my previous life, assisting Mira..
"It was twins".
Mira announced..
I was a boy and a girl.
They were named "Saranya" and "Aditya".
Both were indian names, just like me, who was named after god KRISHNA.
It seems indian names aren't rare in the Cindra continent.
Also, my parents grew closer to Elvie.
[present]
For some reason, this year there has been no rain in Starmarch...
The humidity is so high..
I made Elvie imagine water and use her first magic....and perfect it..
After that, I made her do ice magic...
For steam magic, I decided to do it later...for the sake of confidentiality...
After that, I made her do crystal magic...but her imagination only allowed her to conjure a shard..
Meanwhile, I can even shape the crystal...fufu know the difference between teacher and student..
After a few days, a dire situation has appeared...the monsters have increased a lot in the nearby forest, and we are facing a severe water scarcity due to the sun; many water reserves have dried up..
And I got a perfect idea.
The next morning, I dragged Elvie to the open plains outside the city. The air shimmered with heat; even the grass had turned silver-brown.
{Elvie} → "You really think this'll work?"
{Krish} → "If we can ionize the moisture layer high enough, yes. The principle's simple — same as thunder, but controlled. We just need to charge the atmosphere until it wants to rain."
{Elvie} → "So we're... forcing nature?"
{Krish} → "We're manipulating it." I smiled faintly. "Magic is about manipulating phenomena after all..."
We began.
Elvie raised her hand, arcs of blue crawling up her arm like veins of light. She made the mana gather at one place in the sky.
"Imagine NA and OH ions," I said, "let them condense the moisture and humidity in the air."
Then — a low rumble.
Dark wisps formed above, coalescing into heavy clouds. The smell of wet sand spread through the wind.
{Elvie} → "It's… working!"
{Krish} → "Not yet. Stabilize the field — keep the differential steady!"
She focused harder, sweat beading on her forehead. A flash crossed the sky — but this time, no explosion. Only a deep roll of thunder… and then — the first drop.
Plip.
Then another.
And another.
Within moments, the skies opened, releasing weeks of trapped humidity in a sudden, roaring downpour.
Elvie burst into laughter, spinning with her arms outstretched. "We did it! We actually made rain!"
I stood there, soaked, staring up at the clouds we'd just created — part science, part miracle.
Somewhere in the distance, I thought I heard the farmers cheering.
Maybe for once, we'd done something that wasn't about fighting or survival — but about giving life back.
But...
{elvie}->umm...krish"
Elvie called out to me with sweat running down her face..
She is still channeling mana....she can't undo her mana.
The air felt heavier than usual… sticky and warm —the clouds turned into storm clouds
{elvie}->" I can't control it.."
It seems her magic king skill has awakened and is forcibly channeling excess mana..
"Elvie—imagine the ions connecting the ground like a thread"
The clouds began rumbling with thunder..
Then.
BOOM!
a streak of crimson light hit a nearby tree... blowing it into smithereens..
Smoke twisted upward as the echo rolled back across the field.
Silence followed.
Elvie, who returned to normal, fainted.
Holding passed-out Elvie, I stared at the burning remains of the tree, equally speechless. My rational mind replayed the impossible — the charge ratio, the distance, the energy yield.
That wasn't lightning. That was a Thunder
And she'd done it by accident.
