"Wait, Texas, I'm not going back to HQ! Pull over, quick!"

As Old Luo was walking, a red-haired Sankta woman with a halo suddenly blocked his path.

"I'd advise you to give up," Old Luo said. "If Yachen hadn't been actively stopping them, the line of people trying to woo her would stretch from Lungmen to Sargon."
"And she has zero interest in romance. Men, women, beautiful, handsome... none of it matters." He spread his hands.
Hearing this, Exusiai looked down, disappointed. Then, she pulled a thick wad of blue Lungmen dollars from her pocket and put it on the table.
"Is it... really impossible?" she asked, looking pitiful.

Old Luo was silent for a moment.
I wanted to scold her, but she just offered too much.
"Alright. I'll help you out, just this once."
He took out his phone, dialed Yu Yachen's number, and put it to his ear.
Yu Yachen hadn't gotten far. It didn't take her long to circle back. She found the dessert shop based on the address Old Luo sent. Pushing the door open, she sat down across from him and Exusiai.
"Exusiai? What are you doing here?"
Yu Yachen was confused. "Old Luo, what did you call me for?"
"Nothing. I just thought, we haven't seen each other in so long, we should sit and chat."
Old Luo cleared his throat, elbowed Exusiai, and then randomly changed the subject.

Yu Yachen spread her hands and reached for her cup.
"But speaking of which... I have been having a problem lately."
The white-haired woman lifted the steaming coffee and took a sip.
"I don't know why, but... I've discovered I might be... starting to like girls."

"Maybe it's because I've been alone for so long? So I'm naturally seeking... something new?"

She said, smiling.

When she finished, Exusiai stared, dumbfounded. Even Old Luo was stunned.

Old Luo was mortified. He could see exactly what Yu Yachen was doing. It was such obvious, "straight hook, salty bait" (直钩咸饵) fishing. He just had to see if Exusiai would fall for it.
