BANG! BANG! BANG!
The crowd began to run helter-skelter after the gunshot.
"What the hell was that?" Jasper said as half the crowd ran into the ballroom, others ran out.
Among the panicked guests was Maya. She ran towards Jasper with a worried look.
"Sir Jasper, have you seen Ma'am sophia?" Maya asked.
"Didn't she get in the car with you guys". Jasper replied.
"I went to get the driver, mam Sophia was waiting for me at the entrance when the gun was shot and when we got to her, she was-"
"Sophia". He called out in panic as he ran to the door. His guards followed behind.
Getting to the courtyard, he searched around.
"Find her," Jasper ordered his guards. They nodded and ran off.
They searched everywhere but it was in vain. She wasn't on the premises.
"Sir, we couldn't find her." One of his men said, panting.
Jasper pulled his head back."Where the hell is she, then?" Jasper shouted as he turned to them.
They all fell quiet. He was angry, whoever dared to tip him off would be dead.
"Sir," a man called out running to him. Jasper turned. It was his secretary.
The man got to him. " Sir , there is something you should see," The man handed jasper a phone. "This was captured on the CCTV at the West Wind."
Jasper watched closely. The video wasn't clear, but he saw Sophia heading towards the car park. Then a motorcycle drove past her and shot at her but the footage cut out.
"What the hell just happened? What happened to Sophia?" Jasper said turning to Mike, his secretary.
"Sir it seems the CCTV malfunctioned and the control room said it had been like that for a while." Mike replied.
"And they didn't inform me." Jasper snapped, "Bring those bastards to me," he ordered.
A few seconds later, Three men were brought before him
"Gentlemen, it seems your negligence has taken something important from me." Jasper said, he crouched beside them
"Sir, we are sorry. We didn't know-" the men begged.
"I told you all to inspect every CCTV and make sure the controls were working, but what did you do-" jasper asked.
The men trembled. "Sir, it won't happen again, we're sorry sir."They begged.
Jasper stood up. " Oh it won't, I'll make sure of that," he said as he took the gun Mike had brought out and shot them in the head.
"NOOOOO!" The men screamed as the bullet hit them. Blood splattered as they slumped.
Jasper spat out-he was furious. "Get rid of this trash". He said.
Some men nodded and took the them away.
Jasper lit a cigarette. "Shut down this city-no one goes out, no one comes in," Jasper said. They all nodded.
A car pulled up in front of them. Jasper walked toward it, but before getting in, he turned around.
"24 hours, if she isn't found, your heads will roll," he proclaimed and then entered.
Mike got on the driver's seat and drove off.
