As things calm down, the family begins to relax and talk. Genesis and Adam reveal the game they were about to continue, while also explaining Genesis's newly discovered short-term memory loss. This sparks panic from Kail, Eve, and Chrona, but Genesis reassures them that everything will be fine.
Watching his family's reaction, Adam realizes something important—he doesn't need to change who he is to be accepted. For the first time, he expresses his feelings and tells everyone that he loves them, surprising the entire group and creating a heartfelt moment.
However, just as everything seems peaceful…
Chrona suddenly freezes.
Kail feels it too.
Something is wrong.
Setting: Candy Cosmos
Chrona and Kail start looking around the Candy Cosmos, their eyes scanning everything carefully… the candy stars, the floating sweets, the space itself—like they're trying to find something that shouldn't be there.
Then all of a sudden, they both turn on their auras.
Chrona's aura glows pink and calm, soft but focused… like time itself is stabilizing around her.
Kail's aura erupts black and heavy, dark energy leaking out slowly—destructive, suffocating—like she's ready to destroy something the moment it shows itself.
The entire Candy Cosmos feels… heavier.
Genesis (confused): Ummmmmm… Kail and Chrona is everything ok?
Kail (with a serious expression, eyes locked on space): Chrona… you sense it too, right?
Chrona (also serious, narrowing her eyes as she looks around): Yeah… but I'm trying to lock on one target… but it feels like they're everywhere all at once…
She pauses.
Chrona (quiet, uneasy): …like they're not in one place…
The space around them ripples slightly—barely noticeable… like something is moving through it.
Eve suddenly freezes.
Her body stiffens instantly.
A cold, uncomfortable feeling creeps up her spine, like something is touching her without actually touching her.
Eve (shaking): ...I… can fe..el them…
Her hands begin to tremble.
Her breathing becomes uneven.
Eve (quiet, scared, voice cracking): …I'm so… scared…
Her eyes widen as the feeling gets worse—like something is watching her… something that doesn't feel warm… or kind… or fun…
Something wrong.
Without thinking, she rushes toward Adam and grabs onto him tightly, clinging to him like she's trying to escape the feeling.
Her fingers grip his clothes.
Her whole body shaking.
Eve is so scared that she presses into him, and her unicorn pajamas slowly begin to darken—the bright, colorful glow fading into dull shades as her joy gets overwhelmed by fear.
The Candy Cosmos—once bright and playful—
now feels… quiet. Too quiet
Adam (calm but serious expression): Stay behind me, Eve.
All of a sudden, the Candy Cosmos starts to darken all around them. The bright candy begins to decay, colors fading and melting into dull shades… the floating sweets lose their shine, and even the unicorns start to darken, their glowing forms turning unstable.
The entire world feels like it's losing something.
Genesis (confused, looking around): The whole world is so dark… it's like the world is scared…
Kail (serious expression, eyes narrowing): It's because of Eve. She created the Candy Cosmos with her happiness… and now that happiness turned into sadness… it's affecting the whole cosmos.
All of a sudden—
Everyone starts to hear something.
"munch… munch… munch…"
Genesis (shocked and full of energy): HEY GUYS LOOKKKKK—WHAT IS THATTTTTTT?! IT LOOKS SOOOO COOLLLLL?!
Genesis starts running toward the odd creation, full of excitement.
Everyone turns to look at what Genesis is so excited about—
…and they see it.
A black ball of flesh.
Floating.
Distorted.
A dark purple aura surrounds it, glitching in and out of existence… like it doesn't fully belong there.
Its surface twitches.
Shifts.
And at its center—
A wide mouth.
Too big.
Too many teeth.
And eyes… staring without blinking.
It continues to eat the candy around it—
"munch… munch…"
The candy doesn't fall.
It doesn't break.
It just… disappears.
Kail (confused, serious): …Is that what I've been feeling this whole time?
Chrona (disgusted expression): EWWWWWWWW WHAT IS THAT THING?! IT LOOKS REPULSIVE—IT ONLY HAS A MOUTH AND EYES!!!!!
Kail (confused, watching closely): It only has a mouth and eyes… no arms… no legs… and its aura feels like everything is getting eaten… what is going on…?
Adam (thinking, eyes slightly narrowing): Why is Eve so scared…? Usually she would be doing the same thing Father is doing…
He glances back slightly.
Adam (thinking): Something that looks as weird as that… would make her curious…
A pause.
Adam (thinking, realizing): …So it's not the appearance…
Eve clings onto Adam tightly, her hands gripping his clothes as her body trembles.
Eve (scared, shaking): It… it said… it was going to eat me…
Adam's calm expression instantly changes—his eyes sharpen, his tone shifting from calm to serious concern.
Adam (serious, urgent): Intention—
His head snaps toward Genesis.
Adam (shouting): FATHER, DON'T TOUCH THAT THING!!!!!
Genesis reaches his hand out—still smiling, still curious—
And then all of a sudden—
The bizarre creature stops.
Its eyes snap toward Genesis.
Everything goes silent for a split second.
Then—
At time-breaking speed—
The creature takes a bite.
Not a lunge.
Not a movement you can follow.
Just—
CHOMP.
Genesis's hand is gone.
Not cut.
Not torn.
Just… erased.
"munch… munch… munch munch…"!!!
Genesis (shocked, screaming): AGHHHHHHH WHAT IN THE MY HANDDDDDDDDD IS GONEEEEEE, IT ATE ITTTTTTT!!!!!
