Linlin gently stroked Milim's hair, as if petting a cat.
The soft, smooth texture eased much of Linlin's fatigue from the day's work. Looking at Milim's cute face, Linlin couldn't resist anymore and gave it a gentle tug.
Then, she gently shifted Milim, slowly pulling her into an embrace. Feeling Milim's soft body in her arms, a suspicious blush appeared on Linlin's face.
Big Sister is so cute! I want to hold you like this forever.
Soon, two hours had passed. A refreshed Linlin walked out of the hot spring, holding Milim. Linlin put on her yukata, then very gently dressed Milim in her yukata as well.
Finally, Linlin carried Milim back to her room to rest.
As dawn broke, a ray of sunlight shone into the room through a corner of the window.
The sunlight made Milim frown. She subconsciously tried to raise her hand to rub her eyes, but found her arm was seemingly restrained and couldn't move.
Opening her eyes, she saw she was completely enveloped in Linlin's embrace. Not only could she not raise her hand, but it was also difficult to even move.
Milim used all her strength and finally managed to free one hand. She then pinched Linlin's nose, but after a moment, she realized Linlin wasn't reacting at all.
A bit discouraged, she suddenly felt the arms holding her loosen slightly. Seizing the opportunity, Milim quickly curled up and slipped out of the embrace.
"Geez, she's sleeping like a log." Milim climbed out of bed and stretched, suddenly feeling a cool breeze below.
Looking down, she saw she was only wearing a yukata, with no undergarments on.
She scratched her butt, turned around with a deadpan expression, and walked towards her own room.
Every morning when she woke up, Milim always felt sluggish, her usual energy completely gone.
Arriving in her room, she opened the closet to find rows of identical outfits neatly arranged.
Milim grabbed an outfit, quickly put it on, then washed her face, brushed her teeth, and went to eat breakfast.
However, when she got to breakfast, she found that Linlin was already sitting at the table, enjoying her meal.
"Morning, Linlin," Milim greeted in a lazy tone, then plopped down on a stool, grabbing a few fried dough sticks and steamed buns to munch on.
These dishes were originally made by Milim to be eaten for breakfast with Linlin and those close to them.
But for some reason, these foods gradually spread and appeared in the various cafeterias of Totto Land, naturally becoming the unique cuisine of the nation.
"Good morning, Milim." Linlin took a sip of tofu soup and asked casually, as if it were an afterthought, "Did you have fun yesterday?"
"Yesterday?" Milim thought for a moment, her brain finally rebooting in the morning light. "Yesterday was pretty interesting. That guy Roger turned into a black man with an afro."
"Haha, hahaha!" After her brain rebooted, Milim instantly perked up, telling Linlin about what she did yesterday and launching into relentless mockery.
"Is that so!" Linlin's mouth twitched. She had hoped they could become friends with Roger; after all, with Milim's powerful charisma, it was easy for her to befriend proud and strong individuals. But now things had turned out like this.
She wondered if Roger would hold a grudge against Milim. Probably not, right? He was a powerful man, after all.
Sighing, Linlin decided to go find Roger later to apologize. As she always said, Totto Land was a nation, not a pirate crew; they couldn't be so carefree.
Then her gaze fell upon Milim, who was happily eating her breakfast. Seeing her carefree appearance, a smile still graced the corner of Linlin's lips.
These fulfilling days are truly wonderful!
Right after finishing breakfast, Linlin easily found Roger and his crew, who were also eating. It was hard to miss them, given how lively their area was.
At that moment, Roger was gripping Rayleigh's hand with one hand, shouting angrily, "Damn it, Rayleigh! Who told you to add so much chili powder? How am I supposed to eat my hot dry noodles now?"
Rayleigh, sporting sausage-like lips, cursed back just as angrily, "You've got some nerve! My perfectly good hot and spicy soup has turned into chili soup!"
Roger said, his voice lacking some conviction, "I just thought you liked spicy food! Besides, it wasn't on purpose. I was just showing concern for my crewmate."
"Go to hell, you damn captain!"
"I said it wasn't on purpose!"
"Fight!"
"Fight!" The surrounding crew members egged them on, while the citizens of Totto Land gathered around, happily watching the commotion.
Suddenly, the chatter of the citizens died down. This noticeable abnormality made Roger and Rayleigh look up, only to find Linlin standing before them.
Roger and Rayleigh immediately separated and began tidying their messy clothes and hair.
Linlin smiled. "Don't mind me. You can continue."
This sentence made the already awkward pair even more embarrassed.
Roger spoke first, "Rayleigh, stop embarrassing the Roger Pirates."
Rayleigh snorted coldly, "The Roger Pirates' reputation has already been completely ruined by you, you damn captain."
"You still want to fight?!"
"Bring it on! Who's afraid of who!"
Seeing that the two were about to start brawling again, even Linlin's good temper couldn't hold back. She let out a loud shout.
"Both of you, stop!" The sound was so powerful that everyone covered their ears, and even Roger felt his head ringing.
Afterward, everyone present quieted down, sitting obediently in their seats, waiting for a new serving of food.
"My apologies, my voice was a bit loud just now." Linlin still wore a formal smile on her face.
"It's fine, we were being too noisy," Rayleigh and Roger said, hugging each other like the best of brothers.
But their eyes betrayed a sense of caution. Although they knew that as Milim's younger sister, Charlotte Linlin couldn't be weak...
...the aura she had just released was unusually powerful. It definitely contained a trace of Conqueror's Haki.
The smile on Linlin's face became a little more sincere. "I am very sorry. My older sister may have done some... unpleasant things to you yesterday. As her younger sister, I apologize on Milim's behalf."
Roger was taken aback. He clearly hadn't been bothered by yesterday's events, but Linlin's apology was comforting.
"It's alright. Kids will be kids, they like to play."
"It's just..." Roger looked at Linlin's tall figure and mature personality, then recalled the small figure and childish personality in his mind.
He couldn't help but ask, "By the way, are you really Milim's younger sister? I feel like you're more of the older sister!"
