"So that's what you were thinking, Milim." The giant leader lowered his head and chuckled a few times.
"Milim, we will not betray the Giant King. We will report everything that happened here truthfully, and then we will head to Totto Land!"
"After all, there's nothing we can do about it." The giant leader looked at his brothers beside him, noticing the deeply moved expressions in all the giants' eyes.
"It's all because we have a willful little sister like you."
A satisfied smile hung on Milim's face. "This is more than enough. Remember, when you get to Totto Land, you must build a huge palace."
"You don't need to tell us that," the giant leader murmured with a smile on his face as he watched Milim's departing figure.
El, following behind Milim, was already completely bewildered by the scene. He never expected that a trip back to the House of the Lamb would result in Milim persuading an entire village of giants to move to Totto Land.
Sometimes, El truly had to marvel at Milim's top-tier affinity, which at times was almost like that of a succubus.
She could get along well with anyone, whether they were strong or weak, and could converse with them as equals. Her childish personality also happened to bring out the bit of maternal instinct in everyone's heart.
Milim wasn't perfect. She was undoubtedly a powerful individual, yet she often acted like a simple and straightforward child. She loved sweets and would throw little tantrums. This contrast of "a powerhouse's strength + a child's innocence" eliminated any sense of distance between Milim and everyone else.
Moreover, her optimism and vitality were extremely infectious. No matter what happened, she could quickly recover her spirits, bringing a light and cheerful atmosphere to those around her like a little sun, making people unconsciously get carried away by her emotions.
Milim and El were the first to arrive at the Demon King, only to find that the bald giant had already been sitting inside for some time.
With a brilliant smile, Milim went up to greet him, "Yo! You're pretty fast, Giant Uncle."
The Giant Uncle sighed helplessly, "Every time I say my name, you always pretend not to hear it."
"Do I?" Milim's eyes widened, her expression one of complete ignorance!
The Giant Uncle rolled his eyes. "What do you think? Is my name really Giant Uncle?"
"If I really didn't hear it, then it's completely a matter of force majeure. My ears automatically block out things I don't want to hear. Giant Uncle, the reason I didn't hear your name must be because it's too complicated."
Milim nodded with great certainty.
"You're not the only one who's said that. My giant friends also only call me Blacksmith, saying my name is too complicated for them to remember." The Giant Uncle sighed helplessly. He didn't want it this way either, but his name was given to him by his parents, and he couldn't change it.
"Don't worry about such small things." Seeing the Giant Uncle was in a bad mood, Milim immediately brought out a large pile of cakes from the storage.
"Let's see who can eat the most cake."
The Giant Uncle raised an eyebrow. "Competing with a giant in eating capacity? Are you kidding, little girl?"
"A mere giant, how can your appetite compare to the great Milim?" Milim said, letting out a proud laugh.
"Haha, then let's see about that." The Giant Uncle also laughed out loud, and both of them simultaneously grabbed cakes and began stuffing them into their mouths.
While the two were enjoying their feast, El finished loading the food onto the ship and left a few people behind in the giant village to serve as guides. El was afraid that the simple-minded giants wouldn't be able to find their way to Totto Land.
After all preparations were complete, he saw Milim competing with the giant in an eating contest and didn't disturb them. He simply restarted the Demon King.
This time, the Demon King set a course for Karakuri Island.
Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, more than half a month had passed.
During these days on the ship, Milim's routine was either eating or sleeping. After sleeping her fill, she would go and watch what new and curious things the Giant Uncle was forging.
Occasionally, she would have a call with Linlin on the Den Den Mushi, living a comfortable life.
She also learned from Linlin that Roger had already left. She heard their next destination was the legendary Elbaf, the country of giants known as the strongest in the world.
Linlin had always wanted to form an alliance with Elbaf, but due to the great distance between them, a collaboration couldn't bring effective benefits to either side for the time being, so the idea had to be abandoned.
Believing that the giants from the village would make Linlin happy for a long time, Milim specifically instructed El not to tell Linlin about it.
Milim was planning to give Linlin a surprise.
Clang!
With the sound of the anchor dropping into the water, Milim finally arrived at her destination.
Karakuri Island, "Baldimore."
Located in the Paradise section of the Grand Line, it is the site of the Future Country Baldimore and the birthplace of the future Navy scientist, Vegapunk.
Karakuri Island is a Winter Island, covered in ice and snow year-round.
Milim, still in her usual clothes, felt no cold at all as she jumped down from the Demon King.
El, however, couldn't handle it. He had already changed into his winter clothes, and a thick down jacket wrapped the entire Fish-Man up like a ball.
The Giant Uncle was even less willing to come out of the Demon King due to the cold and was still staying in his room.
"Snow!" Milim was very excited. She jumped directly into a snowdrift and rolled around a few times. In all her past years, she had only seen snow as a child and never again since.
In the world of One Piece, the climate of the Grand Line completely defies natural laws. Some islands don't even follow the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
A Spring Island is always spring, a Summer Island is always summer, an Autumn Island is always autumn, and a Winter Island is always winter. But what defies natural laws even more is that food can still grow on a Spring Island.
El didn't rush to stop Milim from playing. Since they had already arrived at Karakuri Island, there was no need to hurry with the rest.
Besides, how long could Milim play for anyway?
Soon, Milim was rolling a snowball on the snowy ground. A small snowball grew larger at an extremely fast rate, becoming several times taller than Milim herself!
Milim was preparing to build her first snowman in her pirate life here, but just then, a small robot appeared out of nowhere.
An electronic voice came from the small robot: "Dangerous individual detected. Tyrant of Destruction, Milim. Connecting to Dr. Vegapunk's line."
The robot then fell silent. Milim gave up on building her snowman and, filled with curiosity, approached the small robot and poked it with her finger.
"Oh, so this is a robot?"
Milim had heard everything the robot had just said. El came up behind Milim, looking at the robot.
Soon, a light flashed on the screen of the previously motionless robot.
A young man, who looked young but had an unexpectedly large head, appeared on the screen.
