It wasn't long before the bald giant emerged from the tent. He paused for a moment upon seeing Milim sitting on the beach.
Then, he slowly walked over to Milim's side and sat down with her.
The bald giant turned his head slightly to look at Milim. "This is a surprise! You're here so early, Milim! It looks like you've been waiting for a long time."
"Not that long. But I just remembered, where have you been eating these past few days?" Milim asked, as if something had suddenly occurred to her.
"Don't worry, King Linlin has already arranged everything. Someone brings me food every day." The bald giant smiled and said mockingly to Milim, "If it were up to you, I'd probably starve to death. No matter how you look at it, Linlin really does seem like the older sister."
Milim could only scratch her face and laugh foolishly, trying to muddle through.
Suddenly, a flag appeared on the horizon. The bald giant immediately stood up. He was very familiar with the design on that flag.
"That's the flag of the Giant Kingdom. Did that guy really put it up?" The bald giant's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Is there something special about that flag?" Milim asked, confused.
The bald giant's expression turned serious. "That flag represents not just the giant village, but the kingdom of all giants, Elbaf."
"If this flag has appeared here, it can only mean that the Giant King has approved of our plan to join Totto Land."
"It also signifies the Giant King's goodwill."
"So that's how it is!" Milim nodded, only half-understanding.
"It seems you've really done something right this time, Milim." A female voice suddenly came from behind them. Linlin had appeared behind the two at some point.
She placed a hand on Milim's head while greeting the bald giant.
"Good morning!"
"Good morning, King Linlin," the bald giant responded immediately.
Milim struggled and shook Linlin's large hand off her head. "Stop patting my head all the time! I won't grow taller."
Linlin smiled but said nothing, her gaze fixed on the giant ship in the distance.
Having grown up in a village with giants, Linlin was well aware of how powerful they were, with their naturally immense strength.
They could easily handle 80% of the world's population without even needing to train.
With the combined military power of an entire nation of giants, even the World Government wouldn't dare to confront them head-on.
However, she had heard that the current Giant King, Harald, was trying hard to join the World Government and become a nation recognized by the world.
But in Linlin's view, the World Government had already given its response. Harald only needed to look at the newspapers, where the World Government constantly slandered the Giant Kingdom of Elbaf, to understand their attitude.
Yet, Giant King Harald still had no intention of giving up, which Linlin found completely incomprehensible. How could constant compromise and pleading ever earn respect and peace?
Although she couldn't understand the Giant King's thinking, Linlin still highly valued the immense power of the giants. Establishing a friendship with the Giant Kingdom would be nothing but beneficial for Totto Land.
Especially since several nearby countries had recently started gathering their troops. It seemed a major war between nations would break out soon.
The three of them didn't have to wait long. The huge ship docked, and more than 30 giants jumped down from it. These were the giants from the giant village.
The giant leader, upon disembarking, immediately spotted the bald giant, and a happy smile spread across his face. "Blacksmith, it's been a long time!"
"What nonsense are you talking about? We've only been apart for a month," the bald giant said, walking up to the giant leader. The two embraced.
"It seems you were first this time," the giant leader said with emotion.
"Of course. Not only am I the first giant to arrive in Totto Land, but I'm also the first to become a chief craftsman," the bald giant said with immense pride.
"Damn it, I can't believe you snatched so many firsts," the giant leader said, scratching his head, a little unwilling to concede.
The two chatted for a while, then went to Linlin. All the giants knelt on one knee and shouted in unison, "From this day forward, we will officially join Totto Land."
"It seems none of you have had breakfast, have you?" Linlin asked with a gentle smile on her face.
The giant leader scratched his head, a little embarrassed. "I was too excited this morning and didn't have time to eat."
"In that case, let's all eat together, and then we can discuss your future arrangements." Linlin decided quickly.
Watching the two sides chat happily as they walked towards the banquet venue, Milim followed at the very back, her face full of resentment.
Damn it, I can't believe this cursed drinking-table culture has been brought here.
They arrived at the banquet location. Because the giants were so tall, all the materials for the banquet had been specially placed outside.
Linlin sat at the head of the table, with Milim beside her. The other giants sat at their respective tables. The giants looked at the various delicacies on the tables, their mouths nearly watering.
Then, everyone began to eat. As she ate, Linlin arranged the giants' future affairs, showing them the piece of land specifically set aside for them.
The atmosphere of the banquet was very pleasant, and the final outcome satisfied everyone. The giants could find suitable work here.
Whether they wanted to be soldiers or craftsmen, there was always a position in Totto Land that suited them.
Milim didn't pay much attention to their conversation, instead focusing on the food in front of her. Although she had already eaten buns in the morning, for Milim, eating was purely for enjoyment. It didn't matter how much she ate.
Now that there was delicious food right in front of her, how could she not eat it?
The banquet soon ended. El personally led all the giants to the territory allocated to them.
Now, only Milim and Linlin were left at the banquet.
When everyone had left, Linlin dropped her pretense, let out a huge yawn, her eyes filled with fatigue.
Seeing Linlin like this, a hint of heartache appeared in Milim's eyes. "Linlin, why are you still so busy? Didn't I tell you to find some people to help you with those documents?"
"You don't have to do everything yourself."
Linlin gave a gentle smile. "I'm already training someone. I recently hired a young secretary named Ryuka. She's very capable of handling these things, and I plan to train her well."
