Rafael's POV
The roaring wind hurled sand against our faces, forcing me to squint as I supported Tobias toward the helicopter. He only groaned, his weight sagging heavily against me. I doubted he could even feel the sand scraping his skin anymore.
The moment I got inside, the other two fake teammates, now dressed in medical uniforms with surgical masks covering their faces, climbed in behind us.
Not long after, once my grandmother's four men finished discussing something outside, their leader and the tattooed Delano member climbed aboard as well.
Polo, the leader of Dimitri's team, locked eyes with me.
No words were needed.
With only two Delano men inside the helicopter, Dimitri's team would have a much easier time dealing with them if things turned ugly.
"We can't fly to the main hospital in the capital." The Delano leader spoke the moment he sat across from me. "We're heading to the enemy's medical facility instead."
My jaw tightened. "And whose permission was that?"
