(Pentagram City 20XX)
In the Royal penthouse of the Morningstar family, a woman with long blonde hair and curved pink horns can be seen singing along to a song on the radio as she works on paperwork, wearing a soft red robe with gold and white detailing of apples and briar vines.
"Hmm, the cannibal quarter needs to be renovated after the recent extermination due to the large property damage, and the vees have once more pissed off Asmodeus with their recent love potion scandal." She murmurs to herself before taking a sip of her coffee, having noticed it starting to go cold, before she uses hell magic to reheat it with a mere flick of her hand. Sighing, the woman sets down the papers and leans back, arching as she stretches, making her rather proud figure and curves stand out. Sadly, as she lives alone, the site remains unseen to any. About to stand up and take a break, the sound of a phone ringing echoes as the woman perks up and answers, having seen the caller's name.
"Charlie! How's my favorite baby sister doing? You haven't called me in a while, sweetheart." The woman says her voice is soft and full of affection. The person on the other end goes quiet before responding. "Hey Sis…..You remember my hotel for redeeming sinners, right? Well, I don't know if you heard, but I…..my interview didn't go well and I….I just needed to talk to you, I guess. Dad and Mom are busy on their tour of the rings, and you're the first person I thought to talk to." Charlie's voice sounds sad, and suddenly the woman goes wide-eyed as she remembers what today is and what it means, as, despite being reborn, she's lived nearly 10,000 years, and her memories have mostly faded. "Oh, Charlie, I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I've been so busy with work, I haven't had a chance to check on you. What happened?"
Her voice sounds sad even as she tries to recall exactly what happened in the pilot episode; the events are still hazy for her. Charlie goes silent on the other side before explaining how they were humiliated on TV by Katie Killjoy for her idea to redeem sinners. Suddenly, Evelyn recalls exactly who that is and what happened as she growls in anger, her horns turning sharp and eyes going red for a second at the thought of someone hurting her sister before she calms down and returns to normal.
"The Hell's 666 news anchor? I'm aware of her. She's a right bitch and I will deal with her, don't worry." Though she wonders why the sinners are so brazen to do that to her sister, unlike Canon, the Morningstar family is very much respected and feared in hell, especially with both her and her father showing how terrifying they can be when they crushed a rebellion led by overconfident overlords and sinners a few hundred years ago. Charlie grows slightly panicked at her sister's words, knowing how terrifying her sister can get when angry, having only seen it a few times in her life.
"That's not necessary, Big Sis Evelyn, ok. I was just hoping that maybe you could give me some advice? You're always so good at solving issues, and I need help." Charlie asks over the phone as the now-revealed woman's name is said. Evelyn sighs, knowing that Charlie is using her actual name as a way to show her determination not to get retribution for her humiliation.
"Fine, but I will be having her fired at least. This isn't just about you, Char. It's because she also has insulted our family and reputation, and we can't afford to show any weakness with mom and dad out of pride right now." Evelyn quickly sends a text to Katie's boss and receives a response that she will be fired and blacklisted from any jobs in hell's entertainment and television industries. Satisfied, Evelyn resumes her call with Charlie while now looking through her large walk-in closet for a fitting dress to visit her sister's hotel.
"Oh, by the way, Char. I plan on coming to visit to see how the hotel's coming along, in case you need any help." Charlie goes dead, still on the other end, as she looks at the rundown and dirty hotel with a nervous look unseen by others except her girlfriend, who gives her a concerned look. Before Charlie can respond, Evelyn hangs up and gets ready to shower and dress.
{Hazbin Hotel Lobby, a few minutes later}
"Vaggie.....My Older Sister, Evelyn, is coming...WHAT DO I DO!" Charlie panics to her girlfriend, who gives a soft look as she comforts her. "Listen, hon, your sister loves you, right? I'm sure she's just coming to check up on you after the extermination. You always told me how worried she was when you weren't home with her and your parents during that time."
Vaggie holds her hands as she finally calms down her girlfriend. "I know it's just she's always so busy with royal duties and running hell since dad stepped back and he and mom went on vacation. I just don't want to disappoint her, you know? She was the first one who believed in my dream besides you, and even convinced Dad to support me."
Charlie says as she recalls how her older sister would always defend and stand up for her, growing up.
Vaggie looks at her reminiscing girlfriend with affection while also seeming to hide some bitterness at the sisterly bond as she recalls how her sisters and she used to be together back when they were young and newly born, before, well, she doesn't like to think about it.
"Charlie, let's just clean up the place and get it nice for her, ok? You're ok." As Vaggie says this, and Charlie starts to smile, knocking is heard at the hotel's doors. Charlie panics, thinking it's her sister, while she rushes to the door,, meanwhile Vaggie seems skeptical since she knows how far the hotel is from the upper district of Pentagram City. As Charlie opens the door, her smiling face drops as she sees someone who went missing and was labeled dead seven years ago, before she slams the door, opens it again, then shuts it once more.
"Uh, Vaggie? The Radio Demon is at the door! What do I do!" Vaggie looks worried. Meanwhile, a certain pink and white spider sinner looks confused at them before going back to sucking their popsicle as Vaggie starts telling Charlie not to open it,, but Charlie merely shakes her head and walks back to the door, opening it fully this time as the person on the other side finally can respond fully.
"May i come in now?" They say with a radio like voice as Charlie pulling all her royal training by her sister and mom regally speaks with hidden nerves. "You may"
