"Crane?" Kreios called the pup, crouching down beside the groups of four children.
Crane perked up, his ears twitching and tail wagging a little, as he turned to look at the person who called him. "Yes? What can I do to help you, sir?"
Kreios' heart swelled at the adorable sight before him and couldn't help, but smile. "My wife wants to talk to you."
Crane looked past Kreios to see if what he was saying was true.
When he first came out to the garden half an hour ago, the woman who wanted to adopt him seemed occupied and was conversing with her companions about a very important matter.
So, like a good pup, he decided to tuck himself beside his friends and read a book.
Upon looking at Renzille who was smiling and waving at him, Crane couldn't stop his tail from wagging eagerly and he scrambled to get up from the grass, his legs propelling forward to go to the woman.
"Good morning, Crane." Renzille greeted him as soon as he was near.
