While the beastmen were busy fussing over Renzille, someone had sneaked up behind them, their footsteps quiet and careful, and watched them try to make Renzille suffer less.
"What's happening here?" The person's voice echoed, causing the beastmen who were fussing over Renzille to stop and turn their heads to look at them, and it was Stellamaire who reacted first.
"H-Hilerian?!" The jellyfish sounded shocked, mad even, but he couldn't care less at the moment.
He quickly turned back to Renzille, his eyebrows knitted in worry, only to see her shifting in her seat as if trying to get a look of the person who had spoken.
"My lady, don't—" Stellamaire tried to warn her, but someone had spoken, her voice louder than his.
"Renzille." The authoritative tone of the woman's voice caused a ripple in the air. "What happened to you, my little sister? And who are these beastmen around you?"
Renzille stood up, the chair scraping loudly against the ground as it skidded back.
