"Boss, looks like you are in big trouble."
"It might be serious trouble."
Hiashi and Hizashi sneaked over, seemingly enjoying Rakawa's predicament.
Rakawa glanced at them. These two unlucky kids were getting a bit too bold. It looked like he needed to teach them a lesson, or he would be letting Senyo down.
However, the two brothers seemed quite sharp this time; they immediately bolted out of the classroom, giving him no chance.
Rakawa shook his head as he watched them. "Those two boys, honestly."
Still, Kushina's behavior caught his attention. What did the Little Chili Pepper mean by treating him so well today?
Unable to figure out what was going on in the Little Chili Pepper's mind, he could only turn to leave.
Just then, Mikoto, who was sitting in front of him, suddenly turned around and smiled softly. "Rakawa, there's something I don't know if I should say."
"Oh? I'd be happy to hear it."
Mikoto gently nodded, stood up, and moved to Kushina's seat. She turned back and said, "Actually, Kushina is a very kind person. You shouldn't treat her like that. Although the Bento she prepared might have taken a little too long, her intentions were good. You really shouldn't have treated her that way."
Mikoto spoke softly and gently, a stark contrast to Kushina's boisterous demeanor.
Rakawa understood Mikoto's character. Naturally, he knew her personality. However, asking him to apologize to Kushina now seemed impossible, as the Little Chili Pepper had already run off somewhere.
"I understand Kushina's personality. Don't worry too much about her; she'll forget about it soon. In the end, they are just children. There's no need to be so serious."
Saying such a thing with his current appearance was indeed a bit amusing.
Mikoto laughed. Although the gentle and delicate girl was still young, it was clear what her character was like.
She was a quiet girl who usually did not speak much to others. Her approaching him now was entirely because of Kushina.
"Kush..."
"Enough, let's not talk about her business for now. Tell me about your situation. Is that guy still bothering you?"
He vaguely recalled that Fugaku Uchiha had been persistently pursuing Mikoto, though Rakawa had interrupted him last time. But since the two were in the same Uchiha Clan, trouble could easily arise.
If Fugaku caused trouble for Mikoto within the Uchiha Clan, Mikoto would have no ability to resist.
Mikoto clearly did not have such complex thoughts. She was still only a girl under ten years old and did not understand these intricacies. She smiled and said, "No, he hasn't. Speaking of which, I haven't officially thanked you yet, Rakawa."
"No need. Don't bother yourself. It was just a small favor."
Rakawa's intention was not about receiving thanks. He simply disliked Fugaku bothering Mikoto. Anything that displeased Fugaku made Rakawa feel good.
Hatred had been established between the two, and one side would eventually end in failure.
Mikoto continued to smile, a gentle light seeming to surround her, warm and comfortable, making anyone who saw her feel better.
"I still need to thank you. It's just that I don't have anything to give you right now, Rakawa. Hmm, you didn't prepare a Bento. How about we eat mine together?"
Saying this, she stood up, took out her Bento, and opened it. The Bento was not elaborate—white rice, a few plain vegetables, and a few slices of meat.
The dishes were simple but looked appetizing in terms of color, aroma, and taste. The portion was small, clearly only enough for her.
Rakawa smiled. "No need. I can eat outside. You eat yours. Don't starve yourself."
"It's fine. Eating out too much isn't good for your health either. This is homemade. Rakawa, do you find it unappealing?"
Mikoto looked slightly disappointed. If he looked closely, the Bento did indeed seem rather meager.
The thought of asking the person who helped her to eat such simple food made a strange, sour feeling rise in her heart, and she looked disheartened.
Rakawa knew exactly what was happening when he saw her expression. He sighed helplessly and said, "Fine, since Mikoto insists, let's eat together."
There was only one set of utensils: a pair of chopsticks and a spoon. Rakawa took the spoon and gestured. Mikoto's mood instantly brightened. She smiled, picked up the chopsticks, and began eating.
Rakawa said nothing more and started eating as well.
"Rakawa, here you go."
"This is lighter, but the flavor is quite good."
Mikoto used her chopsticks to place vegetables and meat from the Bento onto Rakawa's spoon, a gentle smile on her face.
Rakawa frowned when he saw that Mikoto was only eating white rice. This girl was far too considerate of others.
"You should eat it."
Mikoto did not take any dishes, still eating only white rice. "You should eat it, Rakawa. I eat very little. Shouldn't boys eat more meat? Hmm, I'm full now."
After only a few bites, Mikoto put down her chopsticks and watched Rakawa with a smile.
Rakawa was speechless. 'She's full already?' Seeing her expectant eyes, he decided to just continue eating. He could not afford a repeat of the situation with Kushina, or he would have a headache.
He quickly finished the entire Bento.
In the front of the classroom, Fugaku Uchiha watched the two of them, grinding his teeth, dangerous light flashing in his eyes. Even the girls who had brought him Bentos were intimidated and quickly placed the food on his desk.
Everyone understood the feud between the two boys, and the young girls were aware of it too. But it was impossible for them to harbor resentment toward Rakawa.
He came from a major clan, was so handsome, and possessed such formidable strength—he perfectly fit the description of a Prince Charming.
He just lacked Fugaku Uchiha's status. If their statuses were equal, the choice of the young girls would be obvious.
Seeing Mikoto's smile, Fugaku clenched his fists. She had never shown that kind of smile to him.
He swept the Bento off his desk and stormed out of the classroom, his face dark.
Currently, he was helpless against Rakawa. The assassination attempt had failed to eliminate his target, and instead, it had heightened security in the Hidden Leaf Village. If he tried another assassination, the risk would soar.
As for a duel, his strength was not on the same level as Rakawa's.
With his anger nowhere to vent, he felt irritated looking at everyone. The rage burned in his chest, making him so frustrated he wanted to vomit blood.
