"Hiruzen I want Asuka Rito in root," Danzo said "If I can have this child I can definitely have a huge trump card when I run for the Hokage"
"No choose anyone else," Hiruzen said
"Hiruzen are you always going to stop me from choosing ppl just because you had your eyes on them first?"
"If you want Takeshi's son are you going to be able to handle the consequences when he retaliates?"
"….." Danzo had no word since he recently received information from his root operatives that Takeshi Rito is now a kage-level warrior. Based on his mission report history, he was not someone whose roots could be taken down without losing half of their forces.
"Give me Yamanaka Kaze, I'll talk to the Yamanaka family about it myself" and with that, Danzo turned around and walked out of the Arena unsatisfied.
"Sensei I'll take Asuka Rito, he fits my style and also knows medical ninjutsu," Tsunade said with impatience then walked towards Asuka.
"Sensei I saw my old subordinate's daughter in the arena so I would like to honor his last wish and take his daughter Anko as my disciple," Orochimaru said then walked towards Anko.
"These two don't give me enough respect like they used to" Hiruzen sighed before he also walked away back to going over war plans.
In the school doctor's office, Tsunade walked in and sat down next to Asuka who was being spoon-fed by Mei after recovering from his spar against Jiro.
"Tsunade sama what brings you here? I've already healed him" Mei said with worry
"I've decided to take him as my disciple, He will meet me and train with me from sunrise to sundown. As a gesture of acceptance I brought him a Senju rebirth pill, its main purpose is to strengthen bones and increase chakra though it could only be used once per person."
Mei was shocked before she ultimately accepted her son's arrangement.
"Thank you Tsunade sensei I will never fail your expectations," Asuka said with a smile

Time skip no jutsu!
"Tsunade sensei, is that not enough gambling money already? This is my last for the week!" Asuka protested
"Kid, your dad is the Crimson Flame of Konoha, you should have more money than this."
"It's my dad who has the money, not me! I still only get 150k ryo a month!"
"Too bad kid, go ask for an extension on your allowance I'm sure it would be granted if you ask enough times," Tsunade said as she walked towards a casino with two children behind her.
5 years have passed since Asuka has been training with Tsunade and she happened to pick up Shizune, her ex-lover Kato's niece. Asuka has grown a lot and though he hasn't learned as many offensive jutsu as he would want, he has still progressed far in medical ninjutsu.
He is now a 10-year-old chunin and although that sounds impressive, Kakashi became a chunin at age 5 once his father committed suicide due to public opinion. Sakumo's death was a scandal that major clans saw as a warning not to express their opinions on who becomes hokage without a vote being issued. Though most of the larger clans did not participate in the bad mouthing of Sakumo, civilians who knew almost nothing about ninjas were going at full force.
Due to his father's dying, the current Kakashi is said to be an outcast, he would often abandon his teammates to complete missions or even use them as bait as long as the mission gets completed. This led to assassination attempts on his life by his former teammates but even they met a tragic end at his hands.
"Shizune, let's complain to" BOOM. "Boy if u dare I wi hit u straight into the sky next time," Tsunade said with venom.
"Oww oww ok sorry brute woman"
"What was that?"
"nothing! I said, "Lovely woman!"
Tsunade counted the money to make sure it was complete before she turned to Asuka then said " I'm leaving the village after the war and you are coming with me. Your parents already know so you have no room to protest, you will also not be allowed back into the village until you have elite jonin strength."
Asuka was stunned, an Elite jonin was something most ninjas would hope to reach let alone bypass. Just thinking about not ever being allowed back into the village if his growth halts made his body shiver.
"Sensei is there any reason that you want to leave the village?"
"I need a break and I need to clear my head of certain things"
"Then alright, I hope you teach me enough offensive jutsu this time around, I'm starvin' for something extra"
"That's a no-brainer brat," Tsunade said with a smirk
"Alright pack up, you are following me to the Suna battlefield."

"Mom, I'm going to the battlefield with Sensei! Just wanted to let you know before I leave" Asuka said to his mother.
Tears came to Mei's eyes before she ran to hug her son and give him warnings about what to do and not do on the battlefield.
"Let me walk you to the gate"
"You don't have to"
"Hush up boy, let me be a mom one more time before my son grows up far away from me"
"…."

"Ready?" Tsunade asked
"Yes!"x2
Tsunade then turned to look at the worried Mei and gave her a nod of assurance before turning and running away with her two disciples to the battlefield where no one knows who may die and who may survive till the end.
Halfway towards the Konoha camp, Tsunade took a break for the little ones and guided them individually.
"How's your progress on the yang seal Asuka?" Tsunade curiously asked.
"I'm almost done with it, As long as I can store more chakra all around my chakra meridians I will officially complete it." as he then pointed to the chakra triangle on his palms
The yang seal is a male-oriented version of the yin seal, Though it has different names, it has the same function as the Yin seal. Well, not the same as the one difference in functionality is that somehow the yang seal also absorbs nature chakra from the air in massive amounts.
"Shizune, how about your progress with the yin seal?"
"Same as Asuka Tsunade sensei" as she then pointed at the diamond on her forehead.
In the canon, Shizune never learned the yin seal but with Asuka's guidance, she was able to learn it gradually over the last 5 years of training together.
"Alright take a break, we will head to the camp next thing in the morning, i'll keep watch for the first 6 hours and you two will figure out who does the next 4. You could also split it up into 2 each up to you"
"I'll do all 4 tsunade sensei" Asuka replied, giving Shizune no room to reply.
"Alright take a sleeper"
