Chapter 24 - chapter 24 Amazon Lily Arc

Screen 1

After the Sabaody Archipelago disaster, Bartholomew Kuma's power sends Luffy flying across the sea. Ben wakes up unconscious on another part of the ocean, unable to move or use his Omnitrix. When he opens his eyes, he only sees endless water around him.

Ben: "Where am I now…?"

Screen 2

Both Luffy and Ben regain consciousness in the middle of the Calm Belt, surrounded by massive Sea Kings. They narrowly survive and crash-land on an isolated island called Amazon Lily.

Luffy: "Where is this place?"

Ben: "No idea… but I'm getting a bad feeling already."

Screen 3

Amazon Lily belongs to the Kuja tribe — a nation of powerful warrior women who despise men. No man is allowed to step on their island. It's a crime punishable by death.

Screen 4

Luffy's and Ben's shipwreck leaves them stranded in the center of the Kuja village. Dozens of warriors aim arrows at them immediately.

Ben mutters, "This is going well…"

Screen 5

The Kuja Empress, Boa Hancock, arrives. She is one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and is known as the most beautiful woman in the world. Her Love-Love Fruit (Mero Mero no Mi) allows her to turn people to stone if they feel lust or affection toward her.

At first, she orders their execution.

But when she tries to use her power, nothing happens.

Luffy just tilts his head, confused.

Ben crosses his arms and says calmly, "I don't have time for love or whatever that is."

Both of them completely ignore her beauty — something no man has ever done before. Hancock is left speechless.

Screen 6

Luffy's and Ben's pure hearts soon begin to change the tribe's opinion. Luffy saves Marguerite from punishment, and Ben helps calm the crowd, telling them they're not enemies.

Later, during a fight, Hancock's sisters — Sandersonia and Marigold — lose control of their powers, setting the arena on fire. Luffy and Ben rush in. Luffy protects their secret mark, while Ben uses Heatblast to burn away the poison flames.

That single act of compassion breaks Hancock's pride completely. For the first time, she sees men who are kind instead of cruel — and her heart starts to change.

Screen 7

Hancock reveals her tragic past: she and her sisters were enslaved by the Celestial Dragons and branded as property. They were freed years later by Fisher Tiger, but the scars remain.

Ben quietly says, "Your past doesn't define you. What you became after… that's what matters."

Hancock looks at him in disbelief — no pity, no judgment, only respect.

Screen 8

While recovering, Luffy receives shocking news:

His brother, Portgas D. Ace, has been captured and will be executed at Marineford. He's being held in the underwater prison Impel Down.

Luffy vows to save him.

Ben steps forward: "Then I'm coming too."

Hancock, now fully in love with both their bravery and hearts, decides to help. She hides them aboard a Marine ship heading for Impel Down — setting up the next arc.

Ben: "Guess we're sneaking into the most dangerous prison in the world."

Luffy: "Sounds fun."
