Inside the rundown, drafty warehouse, the darkness loomed, broken by the sunlight seeping through the hole in the broken ceiling.
Three men sat huddled around a scuffed crate, covered by a white cloth. Their eyes were wide with greed as they hovered over a case of glittering black jewelry. They appeared ominous and cursed. Despite absorbing the light from above, they looked anything but breathtaking.
Those three men were frozen, taken away by the beauty of the jewel, when suddenly, a rhythmic click of heels echoed inside the large space.
Frightened, the men closed the case before looking around into the darkness, confused about where the voice was coming from.
"W—who are you? Show yourself." Clutching the case, the man shouted. His hand wielded a sharp, wide blade.
"Don't you dare taint those precious ones with your filthy hands."
