Todd's POV
I walked toward Kane with a warm, friendly smile, taking my time with each step. I moved slowly, but I could see every step was crushing down on his heart, making him break out in a cold sweat.
Kane shouted, "Don't come any closer. I'm warning you, my dad is the vice president of Noah Group. Messing with me means messing with the Noah Family. If you still want to have a place in Stormhaven, you'd better let me go, or you won't get away with it."
I finally stopped, a mocking smile playing on my lips. I sneered, "The Noah Family? I'm just terrified."
Suddenly, I bent down, picked up the shattered bottle from earlier, and tested its weight in my hand.
I looked at Kane and pressed, "Which hand did you use to touch Sallie earlier?"
I tilted my head, putting on an innocent, curious expression, but the chilling tone in my voice made Kane recoil in terror, flattening himself against the door.
