Chapter 30 - Clone

"Yes, Primarch, this is my last wish," Jason said.

"I shall grant you mercy, Colonel Jason. Your soul will be with the Emperor."

Guilliman placed his hand on Jason's throat. With just a slight squeeze, the man's neck would be broken.

Jason smiled, incredibly calm.

The fear of death became insignificant at this moment.

He would return to the Emperor's throne and reunite with his sacrificed comrades.

The sound of bone crunching was sudden and quick.

Jason's head slumped to the side, and he stopped breathing.

Guilliman withdrew his hand and made the Aquila sign.

Even though he wasn't a space marine, Jason was a true hero.

"Have his body cremated and then buried properly," Guilliman instructed the others before turning and walking away.

Infected bodies had to be cremated to prevent secondary contamination.

"Is uncle Jason dead??" A little girl stood outside the ward, looking at everything blankly.

Mom was dead, Dad was gone, Grandma was dead, little brother was dead, and now even Uncle was dead.

This world felt so lonely, so lonely.

Walking out of the ward, Guilliman followed the sound and noticed the child.

She held a dirty toy in her hand and stood alone in the crowd, staring at him blankly.

"House all the children who have lost their parents in Imperial orphanages. Select the strongest among them to become soldiers of the Imperium and train them to be warriors against Chaos."

Guilliman issued a new order. He would give these children a chance for revenge.

This was a necessary measure. If these orphans were left uncared for, without the means to survive, they would soon die.

Raising them like normal children seemed unrealistic.

In this cruel universe, abandoning those unable to survive had long become a habit.

Guilliman could only let them live this way. The Imperium would raise them, and they would be the soldiers of the future.

After dealing with Jason and the orphans,

Guilliman did not leave immediately but stayed at the hospital, listening to the people's opinions.

The fundamental reason for saving the Imperium was to save humanity.

Saving the Imperium for the sake of saving the Imperium was the most foolish idea.

The purpose of the Imperium was to allow humanity to survive in this dark universe and to maximize human interests.

It was not to sacrifice human interests to maintain the Imperium.

The current Imperium was completely upside down, constantly sacrificing human interests to support the Imperium.

The Imperium had become a playground for the powerful, and this had to be changed.

Guilliman stayed to listen to the thoughts of these ordinary people to convey a message.

The Imperium was the Imperium of humanity, not just the Imperium of the nobility.

"We want to get jobs that can fill our stomachs."

"Let my children go to school."

"I hope to have some leisure time outside of work."

"Can the environment around the hive city be improved?"

Guilliman selected some important matters and wrote them down.

He would begin to change the planet Sara, helping it establish a sound system and a relatively equal society.

Rights and obligations would be closely linked, and there would be no more useless noble parasites.

He would also leave a small detachment of Space Marines on this planet.

He would only leave once the planet was on the right track and had a decent defense force.

He gathered the surviving scholars, screened those who wanted to change Sara, and had them form a new ruling class.

The original ruling families were all abolished and demoted to commoners.

Their performance had greatly disappointed Guilliman.

They had fled into their fortresses at the start of the war and remained indifferent to the outside world.

It was precisely because of their cowardice and selfishness that the Sara defense force quickly collapsed.

If not for Colonel Jason stepping forward at the crucial moment and turning the tide, regrouping the collapsing defenders, Sara would have long become a plague death world.

Killing them was also impractical.

The power structure of the Imperium was too vast. While it would be satisfying for Guilliman to kill these people,

It would inevitably arouse the suspicion of other nobles and cause them to directly turn to Chaos.

These mortal nobles, through thousands of years of intermarriage, had already connected the entire Imperium into a vast network of power.

Once turmoil was caused, the already heavily bleeding Imperium would head directly towards death.

This was no longer the Great Crusade. There were no longer a dozen Primarchs holding down the galaxy.

The galaxy had become the galaxy of the mortal nobles.

Guilliman was alone, and a strong attitude would only be counterproductive.

He couldn't personally visit every planet, nor did he have the energy to deal with the constant internal strife.

Appropriate compromise was necessary.

He would only be able to be strong once he had complete control of the Imperium or when Cawl had built him an unprecedented army.

Sara was being rebuilt.

With Guilliman's help, Sara would become a beautiful home in the hearts of the survivors.

He also ordered the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to build new machines for Sara to improve the harsh environment.

At the same time, all factories would be inspected to ensure that all emissions met standards, improving the local natural environment.

Such reforms would involve some of the Imperium's resources and divert the Imperium's attention.

But Guilliman didn't care about this.

Without a homeland worth remembering, without a childhood to reminisce about, how could ordinary people resist the temptations of Chaos??

These people must know what they are fighting for to strengthen their grip on their weapons and firmly resist Chaos.

Two weeks later, Guilliman's fleet withdrew from orbit around Sara.

Basic factories had been rebuilt, and food and water were self-sufficient.

The new rulers were leading the people to complete the remaining reconstruction work, striving to recover as soon as possible and serve the Imperium.

A statue of Jason stood in the center of the city, watching over the home he had sacrificed his life for.

The little girl he had saved was sent to an Imperial orphanage.

These children would be trained from a young age, growing up with hatred and animosity towards Chaos.

They would learn new tactics, new ideologies, and the latest knowledge of the Imperium.

One day in the future, these children would become the sharpest blade in Guilliman's hand.

The Sons of Vengeance would be unstoppable.

After the 'Might of Macragge' entered the warp,

Guilliman took a secure elevator, preparing to enter the depths of the 'Might of Macragge'.

He needed to see the Archmnagos Cawl, or to be precise, a clone of Cawl.

To this day, the person Guilliman relied on the most was still Archmnagos Cawl.

He couldn't fight and conduct scientific research at the same time; he needed someone to help him.

Archmnagos Cawl was the best candidate. This radical Archmagos didn't care where knowledge came from, as long as it was useful.

Guilliman needed him to help convert the knowledge in the database into real power.

Otherwise, the database, this cheat, would be useless.

The elevator hummed as it descended, and Guilliman had a brief exchange with the auxiliary AI.

"When will the second quest arrive?"

**The host has not yet fully converted and utilized the currently unlocked technology. Rashly unlocking high-level technology will disrupt the progress of civilization and lead to an incomplete civilization.**

"So many requirements?" Guilliman was a little dissatisfied.

Other people's cheats start with a ten-pull, upgrade to a mythical Great Luo in six days, and dominate the Great Desolation in ten days.

My cheat tells me to farm, lead soldiers to fight, and even scheme against others.

We're all transmigrators, why such differential treatment?

**The advanced technological knowledge in the database is too powerful. The host must be fully prepared to ensure it is not leaked. Once that high-level technological knowledge is controlled by the enemy, the entire universe will be in danger.

Please use the existing technological knowledge to build a complete civilization system. At that time, the second phase of the authentication mission will be released.**

"How about a deal? Give me a warp bomb first so I can blow up the warp daemons," Guilliman asked tentatively.

**The physical body resides in reality, and the soul resides in the void. Before humans have the ability to escape the universe, it is not recommended for the host to blow up the warp. Doing so will cause humanity to regress and gradually lose their sentience.**

"This won't work, that won't work. What's the use of you??"

**I can cheer you on!*

Guilliman:

The elevator vibrated, reaching its destination.

A hissing sound and mechanical noise sounded, and the elevator slowly opened.

Guilliman ended his conversation with the auxiliary AI and stepped into the depths of the ship.

"My lord, you have arrived."

A robed psyker, holding a force staff, emerged from the darkness and gave Guilliman the Imperial Aquila sign.
