Chapter 3 - when Four Align part 1

*Mumbai (Agani's Office)*

The red bike got parked in front of the TVC Travel company. Agani got down from the bike and went inside the lift. Coming to her cabin, she started working. Her office friend came to her desk and gave her an envelope with a smile. She opened the envelope, read the paper, and went into her boss's office. "Why me?" she asked. Her boss replied, "Agani, this is a good opportunity. You'll get promoted in South Korea. Why don't you want this opportunity?" Agani said, "I want to be stable at one place for at least a year. This is the third time I've got transferred, and I really want to stay in one place." Her boss said, "See, Agani, think carefully. This is a very good opportunity for you. Take your time, think about it, and give your answer tomorrow." Agani nodded and left the cabin.

During her lunch break, her phone suddenly rang. She picked up the call, and a person on the other end said, "If you want those pages from that diary, come to South Korea." The unknown person hung up. Agani tried to contact the person, but they didn't answer. She was surprised that the person knew about her diary. After spending her lunch break thinking about it, she decided to go to South Korea to find out the truth.

After lunch, she went to her boss's office and said, "I'm ready to take this opportunity." Her boss replied, "Okay, this is a good decision. I'll book your flight to South Korea in three to four days, and the company will handle all the paperwork." Agani nodded and left the office. She came home, went to her room, took out an old diary from her personal locker, looked at it for a long time, and then put it back. "The time has started," she said.

*Korea (Seo Re-ha)*

It was past midnight. Re-ha was sleeping in her room when she suddenly started shaking and crying, as if she was having a bad dream. She woke up, sweating and breathing heavily. She got out of bed and went to her workplace, where she started drawing. After some time, she drew a pendant with a red diamond in the middle. She looked at it and said, "It's time to find the truth."

The next day, she woke up and went to her studio. She started working, but someone came behind her and shouted, "Pekaboo!" Seo Re-ha remained calm. The person, Jin, came in front of her and asked, "How can you not get scared?" Re-ha replied, "Jin, when are you going to stop this madness? I know all your tricks." Jin asked, "How are you? Are you doing fine?" Re-ha said, "I'm fine, but the store owner is giving me a headache." Jin said, "That old issue?" Re-ha nodded. Jin suggested, "I have an idea. Why don't you use your big house as a guesthouse? You can earn money and get company." Re-ha thought it was a good idea and thanked Jin. Jin asked for a reward—a dinner date—and Re-ha agreed.

*New York (Lila)*

SSKT was one of the best restaurants in New York, known for its calm environment. However, a different story was happening in the SSKT kitchen. The head chef, Lila, was laughing and making her team laugh.

After the restaurant closed, all the workers gathered in the main hall. The owner said, "Hello, everyone. First, thank you for your hard work. As you know, one of our chefs participates in the food festival every year. This year, Lila will participate. All the best, Lila!" The owner and the team members gave Lila their best wishes. After the meeting, Lila went home, threw her body on the bed, and said, "The time will come."

*Shanghai (Nira)*

Lin Nira sat by the window of a small café in Seoul, her fingers curled around a cup of cooling coffee. The November air was soft and gray, and the city buzzed with conversation, traffic, and music from a nearby street performer. But Lin wasn't really there; her thoughts were elsewhere. She was thinking about a torn diary page she had found two nights ago. The page was old, with slightly burned edges, and the words were in a language she couldn't recognize. Only one word stood out: "Agani." It pulsed in her memory, refusing to fade.

She didn't know what it meant, but it felt like a summons. When she first read it, a soft voice inside her had whispered, "Go to South Korea." It wasn't logical, but somehow she had changed her flight at the last moment. Now, she was in Seoul, across from a narrow alley that led somewhere she couldn't yet see but somehow felt.

The café clock ticked, and people came and went. Lin traced her finger over the rim of her cup, trying to make sense of the strange pull inside her chest. It wasn't just curiosity—it was conviction, as if someone unseen was guiding her, urging her to remember something she never lived.

Outside, Lila paused under a flickering streetlight, her silhouette sharp against the mist. For a second, her eyes lifted and met Lin's through the window. It wasn't a coincidence. Lin's heart skipped a beat. The sound of the city dulled to a hush, and time seemed to lean forward. Somewhere deep inside her, the word echoed again—Agani. It felt like both an ending and a beginning.

Lin rose from her seat, slipped the torn page into her coat pocket, and knew she was being called toward something waiting beyond that street, beyond what she understood—something that had already begun long before she arrived.
