Chapter 416 - Pirate Gathering

When Lex saw the Apocalypse prophecy, he had hoped the author of 'Spirit Realm Encounters' would write more about it. However, that Abraham Traveler didn't seem to care much and didn't ask further.

The content directly jumped from the Apocalypse prophecy to the curse on his Family's Bloodline.

Lex felt quite helpless, thinking that if it were him, he would definitely grab Venithan and ask about the Apocalypse prophecy until he understood it completely.

As for the Abraham Family's Bloodline curse, 'Yellow Light' Venithan told the Traveler that, in a sense, it was indeed a curse, but its essence was completely different from curses in mysticism. The solution lay in the future, in the hands of an "Apprentice" who received help from a hidden existence.

He also warned the Abraham Family Traveler that the day the curse was lifted would be the beginning of the Abrahams' true calamity.

As for what kind of calamity it would be, he said he didn't know, believing it involved Great Masters at the level of Deities.

After reading this section, Lex remembered that the Observers had once mentioned the Abraham curse, saying that Abraham's ancestors were on the moon.

And Venithan's prophecy mentioned that the Watcher came from the starry sky. In other words, the thing causing the Apocalypse was in the starry sky?

Then, was the fact that Abraham's ancestors were on the moon related to the starry sky?

What could be the thing existing in the starry sky?

Finally, 'Yellow Light' Venithan also mentioned that the Rulers of the 'Pure Light Brotherhood', which are the seven pure lights, often enter the real world and transform into humans in different ways to teach relevant knowledge.

The owner of the notebook even speculated that Roselle Gustav, who was a Great Master in many fields, might have been one of those pure lights.

Upon seeing this, Lex's mouth twitched slightly, and he whispered, "No, no, that one isn't any pure light. He comes from a world you can't imagine."

He stored this chapter of 'Spirit Realm Encounters' and the 800 pound obtained from 'Hanged Man' into the 'spirit world treasure chest'.

Counting it up, the 'spirit world treasure chest' now contained 10,800 pound, which was a genuine fortune. Unfortunately, it was still far from Lex's goal.

To obtain a title, one needed to purchase matching land and make donations to political parties. Even to buy a baron like Bison, Lex estimated that it would cost at least eighty to one hundred thousand pound.

However, calculating it, he had been in this world for less than half a year and had already accumulated over twenty thousand pound in wealth. At this rate, he believed he would achieve his goal of obtaining a title before long.

Next, Lex took out the two magical items, 'Thousand-Faced Traveler' and 'string puppet', from the 'spirit world treasure chest', and instead put ''Devil May Cry'' into the treasure chest.

In a few days, they would arrive at Sonia Island. He planned to use a new image to meet the informant provided by 'Hanged Man' Alger.

Lex intended to completely transform this image, not involving anything related to the Adventurer 'Rayleigh'. Therefore, if a battle occurred, Lex had to play a Beyonder of another pathway.

The two items he took out of the treasure chest, plus the 'magic ring' on his hand, could fully allow him to play a 'Marionettist' of the Seer pathway.

In addition, he could also use 'blood praise', and if absolutely necessary, he had 'Madam Christie'. These items were completely sufficient for him.

It was Tuesday evening in the blink of an eye. The 'Golden Dream' had already entered the Sonia Sea, and would reach Sonia Island by morning or noon tomorrow.

Sonia Island was almost a small continent, and also the origin of the Sonia Sea's name.

It was originally the only remaining settlement of the elves after the Cataclysm, but as time passed, this ancient Beyonder race was plagued by various factors and gradually died out, with only occasional, sporadic appearances proving they were not completely extinct.

At the end of the Fourth Epoch, the Loen Kingdom occupied this island, but during the "Twenty Years' War", they suffered a disastrous defeat and handed Sonia Island over to the Feysac Empire, which has been more than seven hundred years ago.

Lex stood on the ship's rail, information about Sonia Island flashing through his mind, and looked at the sea surface, dyed golden by the setting sun, imagining the scenery on Sonia Island.

Just then, someone patted him on the shoulder.

"Come on, the Captain is looking for us," Danitz said excitedly.

Lex looked at his profile suspiciously and said, "What are you so happy about? Did you confess to the Captain?"

Danitz, who was holding a beer bottle and taking a swig, heard this and sprayed a rainbow: "Shit! I didn't!"

"Then why are you so excited? I thought you had expressed your feelings to the Captain. But then again, if you had confessed, you wouldn't be so excited now; on the contrary, you'd be very dejected," Lex analyzed.

Danitz first froze: "Why would I be dejected?"

Then he suddenly understood that Lex thought he would be dejected because Lex believed the Captain would reject him.

Danitz immediately wanted to refute but couldn't find enough reasons, so he was speechless.

Then he said, "Are you coming or not?"

A moment later, in the Captain's Cabin, Lex saw Edwina and Jodeson.

Iceberg Admiral had changed into an Adventurer's outfit and wore a wide-brimmed hat. Her clear gaze swept over Lex and the other two.

"Tonight, you'll come with me to 'Siren Bay'. There's a pirate gathering there, the kind that sells Beyonder materials and magical items."

"Perhaps there, you can get what you want, so remember to bring money."

Lex said in surprise, "Siren Bay? Are there Sirens there?"

Siren is an essential thing for the Seer pathway Sequence 5 'Marionettist' advancement ritual. If he knew a place where Sirens appeared, this information could be sold to Klein in the future.

Unexpectedly, Edwina said, "There used to be, but not anymore. Now it's just a hidden pirate gathering place. Since we're passing by, and I also want to collect some things, I called you to join me."

What a pity... Lex thought for a moment and nodded, "Alright, I hope to buy a weapon and see if there are any Beyonder materials I need."

He was referring to weapons like revolvers.

Currently, he only had one 'blood praise' revolver. This gun had many abilities, but its power was limited.

If he could acquire a more powerful weapon, he could replace 'blood praise'. Of course, since it was a gift from his mother, Lex didn't plan to sell it.

After leaving the Captain's Cabin, Danitz kept rubbing his hands and saying, "I hope I can buy the Conspirer's potion formula tonight. The Captain said that gathering has a notary who can guarantee the accuracy of the potion formula..."

As he spoke, he noticed Lex staring at him. Danitz couldn't help but say, "Why are you looking at me?"

"I have the Conspirer's formula," Lex said lightly.

Danitz's expression froze, and he fell into a daze...
