After hearing what Hansen and his gang said, the second-year students speculated that, with how confident they sounded, it would definitely be Ragna's last time as an awakener; they were sure the trio had something in mind, especially with how they had been humiliated the last time.
Meanwhile, the students had left the classroom several minutes ago, leaving Ragna all alone to himself, while he slept.
Today had made him understand what the penalty would happen if he ever missed his sleeping quest. He also couldn't help but wonder what penalty he would get if he ever missed his training quest, although he was curious about it.
Ragna didn't want to know what the result would be like; he had almost gotten himself into a dangerous situation because of his carelessness, and would have lost his life if his opponent were any stronger. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake.
He reckoned he would have gotten seriously wounded if he hadn't baited the trio to fight him outside the academy before he truly recovered. Ragna didn't choose to fight because, with how bad the state he was in, not only would he have been seriously wounded, but he would also have lost the opportunity to absorb the trio's abilities and complete the quest.
His health and stats, had been halved coupled with the fact his head was banging with slitting headaches, that he felt like he was in a maguire, although his life was almost in danger because of it, Ragna was also grateful because thanks to it, they had believed they had grown stronger than he was and were not able to see he was in a weakened state.
[Sleep for ten minutes completed]
[Health and stats negative status has been removed]
[Cursed one has recovered his health and stats completely]
Ten minutes later, Ragna had just woken up from his sleep and was currently looking at the notification messages in front of him. He had goosebumps as he remembered what happened.
With how much had happened, because of the penalty of the sleeping quest, no one would believe that with just barely ten minutes of sleep, Ragna would wake up feeling like nothing actually happened to him. If not for the fact that he could see the burnt marks from the second-year student fireball, he would have thought everything that happened was just a dream.
At the same time, he could hear the cursed fragment voice in his head and could perceive how worried it was, due to the sleep quest penalty, for some reason it voice couldn't get through to Ragna, although it couldn't see the negative status on his health and stats, it could tell something was wrong when it could not get through to him.
'I hope you're good? Did something happen to you? Every time I tried calling your name, it seemed like you couldn't hear me?'
This was the cursed, fragrant soul train of thoughts in Ragna's mind, but Ragna simply shrugged it off as being tired, even if he explained what happened, the cursed fragment soul would still not be able to understand because of the system restrictions.
Once he was done sleeping, and his health and stats were back to normal, Ragna flexed his muscles quite a bit before walking out to begin his punishment. Today, he had about eight places to clean in the academy, each in a different location. He also wanted to finish everything quickly since he needed to meet up with the trio for the fight.
It didn't take long before he got the equipment that he needed for the cleaning and was currently heading towards one of the school facilities.
Two hours later, after cleaning the last teacher's office, he couldn't help but stare at a far distance, where Miss Levy's office could be seen. He had a smirk on his expression as he teased the cursed fragment soul in his mind about the incident.
Eventually, Ragna was done and was exiting the academy building, unbeknownst to him a pair of beautiful eyes was currently taking a peek through her door in search of him, the person it belonged to was none other than miss levy, she was almost about leaving the school, but didn't want to bump into him mistakenly as she was embarrassed and curious about the previous incident.
Of course, during school hours, she would act like nothing happened, so as not to raise any suspicion among the students, and would sometimes steal a glance at Ragna while teaching, but the look on his face would always be deadpan and sleepy, as if she wasn't there and knew nothing.
She had tried putting her intrusive thoughts aside, but they would eventually surface making her curiosity about him grow gradually.
Today, she had made sure to finish whatever she was doing earlier and was purposely searching for him, hoping he would come out, and then tail him.
'He should have probably left for home by now, but just in case he's around, I have to search this vicinity.'
