Fiora had no intention of backing down from Old Man Tora.
If Tora thought Fiora would yield simply because the situation was hectic, with dozens of beastmen waiting their turn, then he was gravely mistaken.
Fiora was not someone who folded under pressure.
At least, not anymore.
And Tora clearly had no intention of yielding either.
That standoff ended when a female elephant beastman shoved Tora's aging body aside. Without sparing him a glance, she extended her cloth toward Fiora, completely ignoring the old hyena as he struggled to regain his balance.
Fiora moved swiftly, filling the cloth with fruit and mushrooms before tying it into a neat bundle.
When Tora finally steadied himself, his eyes widened.
No one had stopped the elephant beastwoman.
Worse, someone had dared to oppose him openly.
"Hey! How dare you—!"
Before Tora could finish his rant, the elephant beastwoman left the crowd with her rations, and another beastman stepped forward.
