Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 — Kamen Rider Chronicle

The Kamen Rider Chronicle System was the golden finger, the cheat ability, that Dan carried with him when he transmigrated into this world.

It contained the records of all information, marks, and rules related to Kamen Riders—everything without exception.

It granted him the power to create every Kamen Rider system, along with all their attached equipment and derived items.

In theory, with the Kamen Rider Chronicle, Dan could create any type of Kamen Rider system he desired.

Of course, the system did not allow him to simply conjure things from nothing in the Marvel Universe.

A certain foundation, materials, or corresponding rules and energy were required before creation was possible.

Especially for some Riders possessing overwhelming power—those comparable to creator gods capable of shaping and destroying worlds, bending time and space—the Chronicle could not yet reach such a level.

At least not in its current state, still early in development, requiring further growth and strengthening.

To create Kamen Riders in the Marvel world, Dan needed to first obtain the required materials, laws, or source energy.

It was like possessing the knowledge to construct the most advanced supercomputer—he understood every method of software programming, every blueprint of hardware structure, and even the techniques to transform raw materials into necessary components.

Thus, so long as he obtained the materials, he could assemble any machine of any function.

For Dan, Riders created purely through scientific technology were the easiest. They were essentially high-end advanced technology—once the infrastructure and resources were sufficient, he could directly construct the equipment and produce the systems.

For this reason, following the artificial intelligence technology of the Kamen Rider 01 world, Dan created an ultra-artificial intelligence — Ark, and established through it a corporation specializing in life sciences and mechanical engineering — The Tree of Life Foundation.

Relying on the Rider-world technologies recorded by the Kamen Rider Chronicle, the Tree of Life Foundation had already become one of the leading companies in biotechnology and mechanical science in the United States.

As for Riders whose power involved mystic or metaphysical attributes built upon rules, he needed to search for special forces and laws native to the Marvel Universe as the foundation.

Naturally, the first thing he thought of were the Infinity Stones — the treasures most iconic to Marvel, each holding near-limitless power.

The six Infinity Stones—Time, Space, Power, Mind, Soul, Reality—were manifestations of the fundamental laws of the universe.

Each stone represented one of the core principles forming the cosmos and contained immeasurable power.

If one mastered all six at their full extent, one could theoretically achieve true omnipotence.

In the original plot, Thanos gathered all six stones, and with a single snap erased half the life in the universe.

But in truth, Thanos did not fully master the complete power of the stones at that time. The Infinity Gauntlet mainly served to coordinate and balance them like a wish-granting device.

In battle, Thanos was unable to freely wield the power of each individual stone; he could only roughly use one at a time.

Otherwise, in Avengers: Infinity War, no matter how strong the plot armor was, Iron Man and Doctor Strange's team could never have exchanged blows with Thanos on equal terms.

After all, just the Power Stone alone was capable of destroying a planet with ease.

Even Tony Stark's most advanced black-tech armor could not withstand the pure cosmic-level destructive force of the Power Stone.

Even Vibranium—the strongest defensive metal on Earth—might not endure it, and vibranium was far from truly indestructible.

Not to mention, Tony's armor then was only nano-material, not made of Vibranium.

And the Space Stone: once someone could even partially wield the spatial laws, apart from Doctor Strange, everyone present would have been doomed.

Forget dimensional slicing — merely opening a random portal to drop them into deep space would have killed them instantly.

Thanos only sought the Time Stone, held by Doctor Strange. Everyone else was irrelevant.

If Dan could gather the essence of all six stones, and create a Kamen Rider system capable of bearing their power, then when the Chronicle system successfully analyzed and mastered the original laws of the universe, without doubt he would acquire the power to control the universe itself.

"When that time comes, I will become the supreme god of the universe — Kami da!"

Dan's heart burned with a hint of fanatic warmth.

And of the six stones, three were currently on Earth:

Space Stone — the Tesseract, stored in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s (or Hydra-infested S.H.I.E.L.D.'s) top-secret vault.

Time Stone — the Eye of Agamotto, held by the Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme.

Reality Stone — the Aether, which would later appear on Earth.

Jane Foster, Thor's human lover, discovered abnormal readings during research in London and accidentally reached the sealed space of the Aether, allowing it to enter her body, triggering the events of Thor: The Dark World.

As for the Time Stone, Dan had no plans to approach it for now.

Before gaining sufficient strength, he did not intend to confront the Ancient One, and the need for "time" power was not yet urgent.

The Space Stone, as one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s deepest secrets, was not something he wanted to forcefully seize early on.

He hacked every external network connection S.H.I.E.L.D. possessed but found nothing—clearly the Tesseract's records were isolated from any digital system, accessible only internally.

Thus he temporarily gave up.

But now, after completing the construction of the Gaia Library, he could locate the Tesseract at any time.

The Reality Stone appeared in London and was linked to Earth through dimensional connection, so it was quite possible that its sealed space existed in a nearby dimension overlapping Earth.

After stabilizing the Company, Dan traveled to London under the guise of tourism to search for its sealed site.

Although he could not break the seal or retrieve the Aether, he successfully collected some leaked origin power of Reality via the Chronicle.

He also did not wish to obtain the stone prematurely — once the Reality Stone appeared, the Dark Elves would detect it and their leader Malekith would come hunting for it.

At that time Dan still lacked the strength to confront him.

Revealing himself would also draw the attention of the Ancient One and Odin.

Dan preferred developing from the shadows, silently building Rider systems and scripting the game.

If he was to reveal himself, it would be only after he had grown nearly invincible — a dazzling entrance after absolute preparation.

Using the collected Reality power as materials, he created the first Bugster Virus through the Chronicle.

Reality power, capable of shaping reality itself, was incredibly useful — so powerful that Dan nearly could not resist taking the Reality Stone immediately.

During the following six or seven years, Dan used the Chronicle to control the Bugster Virus, keeping it hidden and cultivating it into maturity.

Like growing a fruit tree—if harvested too early, the yield would be small. Only when the tree grows tall and healthy will its fruits be plentiful and rich.

And only then would Dan, the farmer, gain the greatest harvest.

Izu and Azu, his two secretaries, were lifeforms created by combining the Bugster Virus with the AI programming of Kamen Rider 01, designed to serve as his assistants.

Of course, during these years he did far more than simply nurture the Bugster Virus.

On one hand, Ark accelerated the scientific development of Kamen Rider technologies, building the industrial foundation necessary for future Rider systems—many of the base systems of the 01 universe had already been completed and manufactured.

On the other hand, Dan was constructing the Gaia Library.

The Gaia Library—originating from the world of Kamen Rider W (Double)—was essentially the diary of Earth's consciousness, the archives of the planet itself.

Its owner could read information about any object existing on Earth.

With the Gaia Library, one became nearly omniscient on Earth — possessing a true all-seeing intelligence system.

With perfect intelligence, any plan could be executed flawlessly:Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated.

Thus, after creating the Bugster Virus, Dan immediately instructed the Chronicle to build the Gaia Library.

Not long ago, the system completed it—meaning he was ready to start his grand game.

And just at that moment, news arrived that Tony Stark had gone missing in the Middle East, allowing him to begin his plan perfectly.

Using the Infinity Stones, and the various powerful forces of the Marvel Universe, he would create Kamen Riders.

To beings like the Living Tribunal, the Creator Gods, the One Above All — such changes in the laws of the universe would merely appear as natural evolution, not foreign intrusion.
