Chapter 125 - Big Mom's Fury

Chapter 125: The Uchiha's Dance! Big Mom's Fury!

The atmosphere on Whole Cake Island had transcended mere tension; it had evolved into a suffocating, tangible oppression that weighed heavily on every living soul.

"Mamamama...!"

Charlotte Linlin's laughter was no longer just a sound; it was a sonic weapon. It reverberated through the sweet-smelling air of Totto Land, causing the biscuit buildings to crack and the cream rivers to ripple violently. The very sky seemed to darken in response to her shifting mood, thick storm clouds swirling unnaturally above the Whole Cake Chateau.

The Soul Queen was enraged.

"Enough! Katakuri!"

She roared, and the sound was accompanied by a terrifying blast of Conqueror's Haki. It erupted from her massive frame like an invisible tsunami, sweeping across the plaza with indiscriminate fury.

Bzzt! Crack!

The weaker members of the Charlotte Family and the surrounding Homies didn't even have time to scream. Their eyes rolled back into their heads, foam bubbling at the corners of their mouths as they collapsed in unison, their wills instantly crushed by the overwhelming presence of a Yonko. Even the sentient flowers and trees withered instantly, their souls trembling in absolute terror.

"So what if they are my invited guests?!" Big Mom screamed, saliva flying from her mouth, her eyes glowing with the red light of pure madness. "Is that a reason for them to break into my treasury? Is that why they think they can steal my Poneglyph rubbing and my most precious treasures?!"

"Mom, please, listen to reason..." Katakuri, standing tall with his trident Mogura in hand, tried to step forward. His veins bulged on his forehead as he resisted his mother's Haki, his face hidden behind his scarf grim and anxious. "There might be a misunderstanding..."

"Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!"

Charlotte Linlin stomped her foot, and the entire island quaked as if struck by a magnitude-eight earthquake. "Here, I am the rule! I am the law! Anyone who touches my treasure pays with their life span!"

The air was so thick with killing intent that it felt like breathing in jagged glass. The Sweet Commanders—Smoothie, Cracker, and Perospero—stepped back instinctively, cold sweat drenching their backs. They knew this state. When Mom was like this, logic died.

But then, a voice cut through the chaos. It wasn't loud, nor was it shouting, yet its deep, magnetic timbre carried clearly over the roar of the Yonko.

"Suzaku, kid."

The abrupt calmness of the voice created a jarring contrast to Big Mom's hysteria. Everyone's gaze, including the raging Charlotte Linlin, snapped toward the source.

Standing slightly apart from the Suzaku Pirates, a man with waist-length, spiky black hair stood with his arms crossed over his chest crimson armor. He looked completely out of place, like a relic from a warring era long past. His eyes, dark and ancient, were closed, as if he were merely enjoying a gentle breeze rather than standing in the eye of a Haki storm.

Uchiha Madara slowly opened his eyes. The crimson iris with three black tomoe slowly spun into existence.

"It's been a long time since I've truly stretched my muscles," Madara said, his tone indifferent, bordering on bored.

He took a step forward, the sound of his ninja sandals against the biscuit floor echoing sharply. His gaze swept over the trembling Charlotte siblings, dismissing them as mere gravel, before finally locking onto the towering, mountain-like figure of Charlotte Linlin.

A smile—feral, eager, and terrifyingly arrogant—slowly carved its way across his face.

"So, this is the so-called 'Yonko' of this ocean?" Madara tilted his head, analyzing her like a predator assessing a particularly large prey. "She has the volume, certainly. Since she wants to fight so badly... let me have a taste. I wonder if her blood dances as well as her voice."

Suzaku, standing at the forefront with his hands in his pockets, didn't stop him. He merely turned his head slightly, glanced at the legendary Shinobi, and gave a small, confident nod.

"Don't break the island too much, Madara," Suzaku quipped, a playful smirk on his lips. "We still need to eat dinner later."

"Hmph." Madara snorted, stepping past his Captain.

"Hehehe~ What an arrogant fellow!" Perospero, clutching his candy cane staff, couldn't help but sneer, his fear momentarily replaced by indignation. "A mere subordinate dares to challenge Mom? Does he not know the meaning of death?"

"Lick... He's dead meat," Perospero hissed, his long tongue darting out. "Mom is in a foul mood. He'll be turned into a homie in seconds!"

The other children of the Charlotte Family watched with a mix of mockery and anticipation. In their worldview, Mom was invincible. She was a natural-born destroyer, a monster who had killed giants at the age of five. Who was this man in red armor to think he could stand before a god of destruction?

Uchiha Madara stopped ten meters away from Big Mom. Compared to her colossal, sky-obscuring body, which stood nearly nine meters tall, Madara's figure seemed incredibly small. Yet, strange enough, his presence felt vast—like a towering mountain range that could not be moved by any storm.

"Mamamama...!" Big Mom looked down at the tiny man, her eyes narrowing into slits of pure malice. "Since you're so eager to die, I'll grant your wish! I'll take your soul and put it into a toilet brush!"

She reached up, grabbing the bicorne hat on her head.

"Napoleon!"

"Yes, Mama!" The hat screamed, transforming instantly. The blade extended, glowing with a terrifying aura as Big Mom gripped the hilt. At the same time, the sun homie, Prometheus, turned into a raging fireball and fused with the blade.

"Emperor Sword: Break-Break Blade!"

Big Mom roared, swinging the giant blade down with enough force to split the island in two. The air screamed as it was torn apart. The blade, wreathed in Prometheus's scorching flames and infused with advanced Armament Haki, descended like a judgement from the heavens.

The wind pressure alone caused the ground around Madara to shatter and cave in before the blade even touched him. The heat was intense enough to melt the candy structures nearby into sticky puddles.

"Die, insect!"

The people of Totto Land watched, already envisioning the man being cut in half and charred to ash.

But Uchiha Madara didn't dodge. He didn't even move his feet an inch.

He merely raised his right hand, revealing a large, guitar-shaped war fan—the Gunbai Uchiwa—that he had been holding behind his back. The fan, made from the wood of a Spirit Tree, glowed faintly as he held it horizontally in front of him.

[Note: The "Gunbai Uchiwa" is a legendary non-folding fan carved from a unique Spirit Tree, passed down through the Uchiha clan. It possesses the ability to convert incoming chakra/energy into wind nature transformation and reflect it.]

He didn't swing it. He just placed it in the path of the Emperor Sword.

BOOOOOOM!

A deafening, metallic clang erupted, sound waves visible to the naked eye rippling out and shattering every glass window in the Whole Cake Chateau.

The ground beneath Madara pulverized into fine dust, creating a crater twenty meters wide. But amidst the dust and chaos, Madara stood firm.

"Uchiha Reflection," he whispered.

The Gunbai didn't just block; it absorbed. The kinetic energy of the Yonko's strike, the explosive heat of Prometheus—it all flowed into the fan, converted into wind nature chakra, and then... returned.

WHOOSH!

A violent gust of wind, stronger than a hurricane, exploded outward from the fan. The flames that were supposed to incinerate Madara were blown back with double the intensity, coiling back toward Big Mom like a fire dragon turning on its master.

"What?!" Big Mom's eyes widened.

The rebounding force slammed into her, pushing her massive body back a step. Prometheus shrieked as he was forced to swallow his own flames.

Dust cleared.

In the center of the crater, Uchiha Madara stood motionless, his arms still crossed, the Gunbai resting casually on his shoulder. There wasn't a scratch on his armor. Not a speck of dust on his face.

"Is that it?" Madara looked up, his tone radiating disappointment. "I expected a dance, not a stumble."

The smiles on the faces of the Big Mom Pirates instantly froze. Their jaws dropped, cigarettes falling from mouths.

"He... he blocked Mom's attack?" Smoothie muttered, her voice trembling. "Head-on? And he didn't even use Haki?"

"Impossible..." Perospero gripped his cane so hard it cracked. "That was the Break-Break Blade! It can cut through mountains!"

Katakuri's pupils, hidden beneath his scarf, constricted violently. His Observation Haki, which allowed him to glimpse briefly into the future, was screaming at him.

Danger. Extreme Danger.

"Sure enough..." Katakuri thought, cold sweat trickling down his back. "This Suzaku Pirates... they are completely different from any opponent we've encountered before. That man... he isn't just a subordinate. He's a monster in his own right."

"Mamamama...!"

Big Mom's shock lasted only a second before it was replaced by an even greater rage. The humiliation of being blocked by a "nobody" fueled her madness.

"A bit interesting! You have some tricks!"

The madness in Charlotte Linlin's eyes intensified, swirling like a vortex. She held out her left hand, and the thundercloud Zeus descended, sparking with violent purple electricity. In her right hand, Napoleon burned brighter than ever.

"Then taste this! I'll turn you into charcoal!"

"Heavenly Fire!"

She swung both hands. Lightning and fire intertwined, spiraling together to form a colossal storm of elemental destruction. It wasn't just a beam; it was a natural disaster manifested, roaring as it blasted toward Uchiha Madara. The heat turned the ground to lava, and the lightning shattered the surrounding rocks.

Facing this world-destroying strike, the curve at the corner of Uchiha Madara's mouth finally lifted higher. The excitement in his eyes sharpened.

"Now that's more like it!"

He stabbed the Gunbai into the ground beside him. His hands moved in a blur, forming seals with practiced, god-like speed.

Horse. Tiger. Ram. Monkey. Boar. Horse. Tiger.

He inhaled deeply, his chest expanding, gathering a massive amount of Chakra—far more than any normal human could hold.

"Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation! (Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku)"

[Note: Uchiha Madara's "Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation" (Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku) requires multiple hand seals to knead Chakra inside the body and convert it into fire nature, expelling it from the mouth as a massive wall of intense flames. The coverage range is enormous, making it difficult to dodge.]

He exhaled.

It wasn't a fireball. It wasn't a stream.

It was a wall.

A titanic wall of flames erupted from his mouth, expanding instantly to cover a width of hundreds of meters. The sheer scale of the fire dwarfed Big Mom's attack. It was as if the gates of hell had opened, unleashing a sea of fire to cleanse the world.

The visual impact was terrifying. The orange-gold flames rolled forward like a tsunami, crashing into Big Mom's lightning and fire.

ROAR!

The collision didn't happen; it was a consumption. Madara's fire was so dense, so vast, that it swallowed Big Mom's attack whole and kept going. The entire plaza was instantly turned into a furnace.

"What?!"

"Get back! RUN!"

The children of the Charlotte Family screamed in terror, retreating frantically. The heat was unbearable.

"Candy Wall!" Perospero screamed, slamming his staff down to create a massive wall of hardened candy syrup to protect his siblings.

But it was futile.

Hiss...

His proud candy creations couldn't even last a second. The moment the heat wave touched the wall, it bubbled and evaporated into sweet-smelling steam.

"It's melting! It's all melting!" Oven roared, trying to use his own heat ability to counter it, but he was forced back by the sheer overwhelming temperature.

Big Mom was also startled by this unheard-of terrifying fire technique. The flames were engulfing her vision, turning the world orange.

"Armament!"

She had no choice. She coated her entire massive body in jet-black Armament Haki, turning herself into an iron balloon.

BOOM!

She used her massive body to forcibly smash through the sea of fire, charging like a maddened rhino. The flames licked at her skin, scorching her dress and hair, but her monstrous durability held.

As the smoke and dust finally cleared, the ground where she had stood was gone. The beautiful biscuit plaza was now a charred, black wasteland. Molten sugar flowed like lava in the cracks of the earth.

Uchiha Madara stood on a pillar of rock that he had seemingly preserved, looking down at the charred Big Mom.

The entire scene fell into a deathly silence.

Everyone's minds were blank. The Big Mom Pirates, the Ministers, the Homies... they all stared with mouths agape.

Another fire-controlling ability?

"Is that... the Mera Mera no Mi?" someone whispered.

"No, idiot! The Mera Mera no Mi just creates fire... this... this is a disaster! Is this even a move a human can use?"

Just one breath. One technique. And the landscape of Whole Cake Island had been permanently altered.

Katakuri's heart was pounding against his ribs like a war drum. He looked at the calm and composed figure of Madara, his inner horror having reached its peak.

"Although I was mentally prepared... this still far exceeds my expectations," Katakuri thought, gripping Mogura tightly. "I thought he would be strong, perhaps on the level of a high-tier Commander. But I didn't expect him to be this strong!"

"Just a cadre... he's just an executive of the crew," Katakuri's eyes darted to the other members of the Suzaku Pirates.

To Albedo, who was yawning, bored.

To Rem and Ram, who were calmly setting up a tea table for Suzaku amidst the chaos.

To Ulquiorra, who was staring at the moon with dead eyes.

And finally, to that man... that Captain named Suzaku.

He just watched silently, a faint smile playing on his lips, without even a hint of worry on his face!

"He can actually contend with Mom head-on, and even... subtly gain the upper hand in terms of technique?"

Katakuri felt a chill that had nothing to do with the temperature.

"What kind of monsters are this Suzaku Pirates, exactly!?"

Madara, seeing Big Mom emerge from the fire slightly singed but unharmed, laughed. It was a deep, resonant sound.

"Excellent defense," Madara praised, though his tone was patronizing. "You have a body harder than steel. But... you lack elegance."

He pulled the Gunbai from the ground and pointed it at the furious Yonko.

"Is that all you have? Come on. Show me something that can make my blood pump. Otherwise..."

Madara's eyes narrowed, the tomoe spinning into a complex geometric pattern—the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

"...I might just end this boring tea party right now."
