Leonardo's POV
At the entrance, a tall, elegant figure stepped inside. She moved with the light behind her, hair dancing in the breeze, her dress flowing as she radiated an almost mesmerizing presence.
As she came closer, her features became distinct. How could anyone describe such beauty?
The instant I saw her face, my pulse stuttered. A rush of overwhelming sensation hit me like lightning. For that moment, I felt like we were alone on some distant peak. The dim stars overhead seemed to ignite because of her. She was luminous, so stunning I couldn't tear my gaze away.
This marked the first time I'd ever been thrown off balance by a woman. Nothing had prepared me for this!
The others stared at her too. It was Veronica. Spotting her, Cecile lit up with joy. "Veronica! You've really come back?"
Camila rushed to welcome her. "Veronica! You're here!"
Veronica walked right past me, completely ignoring my presence, and headed straight to Cecile.
"Cecile! Camila."
