Veronica's POV
I didn't kiss him. Instead, I swung my fist straight at his face.
But Leonardo had already seen it coming. The second I moved, he caught my fist with swift precision.
His large hand completely engulfed mine. I fought to pull free, but he effortlessly countered every attempt.
"Still planning to hit me?"
Leonardo pinned my arm above my head against the door, his dark eyes boring into my furious expression.
Maybe if he were still blind, I'd have a shot at landing that punch. But now? There was no way Leonardo would give me that chance.
"Let me go!"
I drove my knee upward to kick him, but he intercepted my leg instantly, pressing it against the door too.
I struggled several more times before realizing my body was completely trapped.
"Leonardo! We're divorced! What else do you want? I've made myself crystal clear—remarrying isn't happening! Stop harassing me!"
