The scene shifts.
A powerful woman stands proudly, her aura fierce and overwhelming.
"My power level was 80,000. I was one of the Top 10 hunters in the entire world."
Back then, the world had just begun to change.
Caves had started appearing everywhere — mysterious, deadly portals connecting Earth to something far more terrifying.
The Hunters Association decided to create a special squad of ten elite members.
"I was chosen…
Your father was chosen…
And among us was a scientist who made a terrifying discovery."
That scientist revealed the truth:
"These caves aren't just dungeons…
They are pathways to Hell itself."
One day, that same scientist finally succeeded.
He built a machine capable of entering Hell.
During that time, she fell in love.
"With your father."
They married.
Jay was born.
Then his siblings.
For a short while… life seemed normal.
But everything changed when the Hunters Association head gave the deadliest order:
"We must go into Hell… and defeat the Demon King."
Their team entered the machine.
Minutes later… screams. Blood. Death.
"One by one… everyone died.
Only I survived.
And your father."
When demons surrounded them, she prepared to die.
But the demons… bowed.
Their heads lowered. Their bodies trembling in respect.
And then—
Her husband changed.
He revealed his true form.
A demon.
A commander of Hell.
Her voice trembled as she spoke:
"I cried. I screamed.
'You betrayed me!'"
He tried to speak.
"Please… listen to me—"
"Don't speak!" she shouted, holding her sword to his throat.
Demons rushed forward, ready to kill her—
But in a flash, her husband slaughtered them all just to protect her.
Then he looked at her with pained eyes.
"Maybe… we will never meet again.
Goodbye."
Before she could respond, he touched her forehead.
Darkness.
"When I woke up, I was back in this world.
And I never saw him again."
Her voice softened with sorrow.
"That is why you have these powers, Jay.
That is why everything inside you feels… different."
"I wrote this diary so one day you would understand the truth."
The flashback fades.
Her final words echo as Jay stands frozen:
"The sword you possess…
is called Obsidian Shard."
