Synopsis
Crossing into the world of One Piece, Adrian wakes up with the Ruthless Bandit System strapped to his soul. The rules are simple—commit acts worthy of a true marauder, and the system showers him with power. Decline? Refuse? Be a decent human being? Yeah… the system doesn’t allow that. So Adrian becomes a “bandit.” A very enthusiastic one. And soon, the entire world trembles. “Red-Haired Shanks, I’ve taken your daughter Uta. If you don’t want a global concert of screams, you’d better hurry.” “Whitebeard, Ace is drinking tea in my captivity right now. Name a price—your son’s life for your wallet. Seems fair, no?” “Garp, your beloved grandson Luffy is with me. Surely the Hero of the Marines doesn’t want a tragedy on his hands?” “Kaido, I’ve got Yamato. Relax, I won’t let her give you grandkids too early… unless you annoy me.” “Five Elders, good news—your Celestial Dragons are officially my hostages.” “…” High above the world, in the Holy Land of Mariejois, Adrian crushes Imu beneath his boot, lights a cigarette, and exhales slowly. “Alright… one last job. Let me finish this heist— then I’m off to wreak havoc in the next world.” The seas will never be the same again.

Chapter 1 - I Was a Model Student — And the System Wants Me to Be a Criminal?!

"Ding! Strongest Outlaw System successfully bound!"

"Ding! Language module activated!"

"Ding! Text module activated!"

"Ding! Newbie Gift Pack issued!"

"Ding! Open Newbie Gift Pack—yes or no?"

By the sea, a lone figure stood facing the endless horizon, eyes unfocused.

His name was Adrian.

Just moments ago, he'd been an ordinary office worker with an "extremely average" face. He had clocked out, stepped out of the company building… and in the next second, he was here. And the mysterious voice ringing in his skull?

As a veteran web-novel reader who binged stories in his spare time, how could he not understand what this meant?

There was only one possibility: he had transmigrated.

"Did I transmigrate just because I'm an orphan…?"

Adrian was completely baffled.

What standards did these systems use when picking hosts anyway?

If it was "parents deceased," or "tragic backstory orphan," well… yeah, he definitely fit the bill.

"But an outlaw system? I was a three-good student, okay?!"

"System, did you pick the wrong person?"

It took Adrian a long while before he finally calmed down enough to accept reality: he had really crossed over. But as for this so-called Strongest Outlaw System choosing him as its host…

He was convinced the system had made a mistake.

Sure, he wasn't exactly a top student growing up.

But at the very least, he was a certified three-good student—good in character, good in study, good in health.

And now?

The system bound to him clearly wanted him to become a hardened criminal.

How could that be acceptable?

Never mind that he'd been a well-behaved student…

Even after entering society, he'd been a proper, law-abiding office worker.

Asking him to become an outlaw?

Wasn't this basically forcing a decent man into a life of crime?!

"Ding! Newbie Gift Pack issued. Open now?"

The system's reminder interrupted his spiraling thoughts.

"…Open it."

Adrian made the decision without hesitation.

He had already transmigrated—there was absolutely no way this system was going to send him back.

Since he was here, he might as well accept it.

He had no idea what the Newbie Gift Pack contained, but for a freshly transmigrated noob like him, it was probably crucial. After all, he didn't even know what kind of world he'd been dropped into.

If this world turned out to be dangerous, and the gift pack gave him a weapon, that would definitely boost his chances of survival.

"Ding! Newbie Gift Pack opening!"

"Ding! Congratulations, Host has received: Random Weapon Ticket, Random Ability Ticket, Random Underling Ticket!"

The system's voice faded.

The gift pack had opened—leaving three different tickets floating before him.

Weapon. Ability. Underling.

Even someone as stunned as Adrian could guess what they meant.

"So after opening the gift pack, I still have to draw…?"

"Is this system trying to make me gamble my luck?"

Adrian let out a small laugh.

But he didn't dwell on it.

If the system liked to play this way, he'd play along.

A moment later, the three tickets materialized in his hand.

He picked up the Random Weapon Ticket first.

"Use."

He silently spoke the activation command.

The moment he'd received the tickets, the system had already uploaded the usage instructions straight into his mind, so he knew what to do.

"Ding! Random Weapon Ticket used successfully."

"Ding! Congratulations, Host has obtained: AK-47 (Infinite Magazine Version)!"

The ticket vanished.

And in his hand appeared… a gun.

Adrian stared at the AK-47, utterly numb.

This system really knew how to play.

The random draw had given him a literal AK-47.

And not just any AK—an infinite-ammo, never-degrading version.

This system truly wanted him to become an outlaw.

Give him an AK, get him a rifle next—

Go big, climb to the top, and build a glorious criminal empire!

Right now, he already had the AK.

And with infinite bullets plus indestructible durability, he could practically carry this thing until the day he was buried.

All he needed was a sniper rifle to complete the package.

But he had no time to think about becoming a criminal yet.

He still had two more tickets to draw.

"Use."

The Random Ability Ticket dissolved in his hand.

"Ding! Random Ability Ticket used successfully."

"Ding! Congratulations, Host has obtained: Hierro (Extraordinary Grade)!"

The result appeared immediately.

Adrian's eyes widened—but he wasn't unfamiliar with the term.

In his spare time, besides reading novels, he also watched anime, dramas, movies… so he definitely knew this one.

Hierro — the steel skin used by Arrancars in the Bleach world.

A defensive ability that made one's skin as tough as armor.

Having this ability meant his body would constantly be protected as if clad in a layer of hardened steel.

This alone gave him a massive sense of security.

And the "Extraordinary Grade" attached to it?

That was a rank.

As the system dumped the classification info into his mind, Adrian instantly understood where his current level stood among the hierarchy.
