CHAPTER 14 — THE DOCUMENTARY BEGINS
The idea of documenting Billie's life didn't start with the label — it started with her mother.
As fame grew, Maggie O'Connell realized something:

"I don't want people thinking I'm slipping," she said. "But I'm also just… trying to survive being Billie Eilish."
Another scene showed her mother watching from the doorway, a soft sadness in her eyes. The world saw Billie as unstoppable — but Maggie saw her daughter, still young, still learning where she belonged in all of this.
Then there was the studio footage — long nights, empty coffee cups, Billie lying on the floor humming melodies while Finneas built beats around her. They created songs the same way they always did: chaos, honesty, and a kind of emotional magic neither of them could explain.
