Chapter 108: The Five Kage Summit
A few days later, the Five Kage Summit called by the five great hidden villages was held on time.
At that moment, Konoha was crowded with people and very lively. Ninjas from all over were pouring into the village, wanting to witness the gathering of the five great nations. This was one of the rare Five Kage Summits in the ninja world. Its reputation had shaken the entire ninja world, making even smaller countries and villages eager to see what would happen.

"Is there no one left in Konoha? You actually let an old man be the Hokage. Old man, you're already outdated. Half your body is in the ground. You should step down and let younger people take over."
The Raikage laughed when he heard this. He seemed unimpressed with Danzo as well and said:
"Well said, Fifth Mizukage."
After hearing that, the Third Tsuchikage frowned, as if he felt offended.
Hearing Terumi Mei's mockery, Danzo frowned slightly and snorted coldly, but didn't say anything.
But the Root guard next to him shouted angrily:
"This is our Konoha's acting Hokage! Show some respect!"
Terumi Mei found this amusing. She looked mockingly at Danzo and said with a sneer:
"An acting Hokage? You're not even a real Hokage. You don't deserve to sit here. Send out Konoha's real Hokage."
"You!" Hearing that, the Root guard gritted his teeth in anger, as if ready to fight.
"What? You want to fight?" Terumi Mei stepped forward, ready to fight.
Seeing that a fight was about to break out before the meeting even started, the other Kage didn't think it was a big deal. They didn't try to stop it.
But Danzo frowned deeply. He snorted coldly, raised his cane, knocked it on the floor, and shouted:
"Enough! Root, stand down."
Danzo sneered at the guard beside him.
Seeing that Danzo wasn't angry at Terumi Mei but instead reprimanded his own man, the Root guard was stunned.
"Lord Danzo..." The Root guard wanted to say more.
"I said stand down!" Danzo snorted again, louder this time, with clear anger in his voice.
Seeing that Danzo was about to lose his temper, the Root guard didn't dare say anything more.
Then Danzo looked at Terumi Mei, glanced at the other Kage, and said slowly:
"Everyone came to Konoha. You're not here to target Konoha's Hokage. Since I'm sitting here, I represent Konoha as it is now. I am the host."
"Fifth Mizukage, don't worry about Konoha's affairs. Let's get straight to the point. The Five Kage Summit will now begin."
Seeing that Danzo was already angry, Terumi Mei sneered and didn't say anything more.
"Hahaha, Fifth Mizukage, you really have courage. Since everyone is here for the Five Kage Summit, let's see what Konoha's acting Hokage has to say," the Raikage laughed.
"Danzo, I heard you called this summit to deal with the Akatsuki. Do you have any news about them?" The Third Tsuchikage Onoki also narrowed his eyes as he looked at Danzo.
Danzo saw that everyone couldn't wait to discuss business. He stood up and announced the theme of the summit:

Danzo's cold, gloomy gaze flickered. He smiled darkly and said slowly:
"That is—capture the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Uzumaki Naruto."
