The next day, Fred and George's Portkey-induced dizziness had completely subsided. They left the Hospital Wing early in the morning and met their roommates who were having breakfast in the Great Hall.
"What's this?" George looked at the flying owl and then at the package on Albert's table, asking curiously.
"Dog food," Albert said without looking up. "It's for Fang. He was a great help the night before last."
"Oh, Fang certainly helped a lot," George echoed.
He didn't actually know what great help Fang had provided, but since Albert said so and even bought him dog food, it must have been a great help.
"I'm going to Hagrid's later, are you coming?" Albertasked casually.
"No, we plan to go to the Library. We still have a lot of holiday homework," Fred nudged George with his elbow. The latter snapped out of his daze and quickly agreed, "We won't be going."
Albert just asked casually. He knew Fred and Georgewouldn't dare to see Hagrid. If they went, Hagrid would probably lecture them for a long time.
Carrying the dog food bought from the magical creature store, Albert went to Hagrid's hut. Fang had fully recovered and was circling around Albert, he really liked the dog food Albert had bought.
"Last time, Fang really helped a lot!" Albert rubbed Fang's head and said to Hagrid, who was boiling water.
"You're really brave, daring to enter the forest alone in the middle of the night," Hagrid said, taking the copper kettle off the fireplace to pour water into the teapot, then put his hands on his hips and glared disapprovingly at Albert.
Hagrid was scolding Albert for his recklessness.
"Didn't you say that as long as we brought Fang, the creatures in the forest wouldn't harm us?" Albert easily countered Hagrid's words.
"Did I say that?" Hagrid asked, a little stammering.
"Yes, otherwise, how do you think I dared to take the risk?"
"Alright, assume I said it." Hagrid was a little annoyed, pouring tea and pondering when he had said such a thing.
"Although it wasn't exactly as you said, Fang still helped a lot, he's just a bit timid." Albert took a sip of the amber-colored tea and then threw a bone-like treat to Fang.
This was one of a hound's favorite snacks.
"Professor Broad said... you took down a lot of Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest." Speaking of this, Hagrid felt a little conflicted.
"A lot. Those Acromantulas are very dangerous," Albertglanced at Hagrid and continued, "Actually, I'm very curious why there are such monsters in the Forbidden Forest. I've looked up information on them, these monsters called Acromantulas live deep in the rainforests of Southeast Asia. Someone must have released them in the Forbidden Forest."
Hagrid's expression suddenly became a bit awkward, because he was the one who had released the spiders in the Forbidden Forest.
"Hmm, I also encountered the legendary Centaurs. They are very unfriendly to Wizards." Albert recalled his first meeting with the Centaurs, frowning slightly, and continued, "We almost fought. I even considered taking them down at the time."
"That's a rather foolish idea," Hagrid stammered, correcting him. "Fortunately, you didn't do that. Hogwarts and the Centaurs have always had a good relationship."
"Good?" Albert shook his head noncommittally. "Perhaps Headmaster Dumbledore can easily deter most Centaurs. It is said that he is the most powerful Wizard in the Wizarding World."
"Dumbledore is certainly the most powerful Wizard," Hagrid fully agreed with Albert's view.
"I think the Centaurs must know your hound. They thought I shouldn't enter the forest. A dark brown Centaur initially tried to cause me trouble. Perhaps you know him, but undeniably, it wasn't a friendly meeting." Albert's first impression of the Centaurs was really bad.
"Centaurs are always like that, don't mind them," Hagridcomforted him.
"Uh, I really don't mind," Albert said seriously. "Since I dared to venture deep into the Forbidden Forest myself, I was prepared to die in there. If the Centaurs dared to shoot arrows at me, I would definitely stun them and let them experience what it feels like to be hung from a tree."
Albert spoke these words with a malicious tone, and even Hagrid could tell that Albert's first impression of the Centaurs was terrible.
"Don't be like that, they mean no harm. Centaurs won't hurt Hogwarts students," Hagrid said. He didn't want conflict to arise between Albert and the Centaurs.
"I don't mean any harm either. Oh, by the way, next time you encounter a Centaur, please thank a reddish-brown Centaur for me. His name seems to be Ronan. Although that Centaur didn't ultimately guide us out of the Forbidden Forest, please thank him for me."
"However, I don't think the Centaurs would like my gift," Albert added. "So, let's forget about the thank-you gift."
"I will," Hagrid poured Albert another cup of amber-colored tea, took a sip himself, and earnestly admonished, "Don't go into the Forbidden Forest by yourself again. You were lucky this time, but it won't always be this good."
"Do you really think I willingly risked entering the Forbidden Forest?" Albert couldn't help but roll his eyes at Hagrid. "If you were home, I would definitely have asked you to go into the forest with me. Oh, by the way, next time you go into the forest, be careful yourself. Don't get dragged away by the Acromantulas. Even you can't face a large group of Acromantulas."
Although he said that, Albert was actually just teasing Hagrid, so he wouldn't lecture him again about going into the forest.
Hagrid's expression was indeed a bit... conflicted.
"Actually, those Acromantulas aren't as dangerous as you think!" Hagrid hesitated for a moment, then spoke.
"Not... as... dangerous... as you think," Albert repeated word for word.
"Hagrid, I think you're joking. If Acromantulas were safe, they wouldn't be classified as such." Albert stared at Hagrid, then after a moment of silence, suddenly added, "If I had arrived any later, you probably wouldn't have even found Fred and George's bodies in the Forbidden Forest."
Hagrid became even more silent, because what Albertsaid was likely true.
"Those creatures are related to you, aren't they? Don't deny it." Albert sighed lightly. "From what you just said, I can confirm that. Acromantulas shouldn't originally live in the Forbidden Forest. Professor Broad once joked that someone might be raising Acromantulas, but I thought that was just a joke."
"Hagrid, I still need to remind you, perhaps Acromantulas won't eat you, but they certainly wouldn't mind eating your friends." Albert looked at the silent Hagrid and continued, "I'm not accusing you, just reminding you that it might not be dangerous for you, but that doesn't mean it's not dangerous for others."
Hagrid didn't speak, his expression simply unnatural, clearly unwilling to hear these words.
"You have Giant blood, don't you? Don't rush to deny it." Albert raised his hand to interrupt Hagrid and lowered his voice, "Giant blood makes you naturally fearless of those dangerous magical creatures, but those monsters, with just one bite, could take our lives."
"One more thing, don't admit it, and don't mention that you have Giant blood. I never mind judging others with the greatest malice. If someone uses this against you, it will bring you unimaginable trouble. Wizards fear Giants, just as they fear You-Know-Who."
Albert quickly left Hagrid's hut, completing a Hagrid-related quest along the way.
