Sean's pov:
I initially wanted to skip school today but I couldn't come up with a good enough reason so my mom shipped me off.
I normally stood as close as possible to Aivah during morning prayers in school but I didn't this time...like who would?
I had forgotten about it and was leaving the class during lunch break then all of a sudden...bam! I collided with someone at the door, I was frantically apologizing but then I heard a familiar laughter then I looked up and saw that it was Aivah...I froze;
"I am really sorry" I muttered
"Don't worry" she said as she held my shoulder and asked if I was going to the canteen, before I could convince myself not to I nodded...
She then joined me, I could feel student's eyes boring into my skin as we walked off but even though I was anxious I didn't give a fuc. I was more than happy seeing that they were would I say jealous? Cause everyone likes Aivah.
"What are you getting for lunch bunny?"
My eyes widened in shock as I turned to face Aivah, she called me bunny, I will have a heart attack very soon; now I see why she said I should buckle up a bit...
"I'll ta..take a coke and f..fries" I stuttered
She grinned amusement sparkling in her eyes, I tried not to gasp for air as I started blushing; I wanted to carry out lunch but she only glared at me for a second before strutting away with the food I just followed.
We sat down to eat, I noticed she liked window seats. I expected her to sit across from me but he'll no she sat beside me, I glanced over and saw her food; she got dumplings.
I thought she might want to talk over the meal but no she was focused on her food, I didn't even realize how hard I was staring until she briefly turned to wink at me, I blushed really hard... I then started eating.
I was about to head back to class but then she asked where I was rushing to, "I have English class in a bit" I responded... She looked at me intensely, I could swear I was sweating through my eyes at that point before she said:
"Your class has a free period till 2pm and it's currently 12pm" she said as she narrowed her eyes... I opened my mouth to speak but the words were not forthcoming so I finally strode back to the chair.
"Why are you avoiding me bunny?"
"I am not avoiding you" I say as I fidget with my pen.
"If you say so then, how old are you?" She asked, I turned to look at her and she was smiling and staring right back at me, I then answered..."19". I saw her expression go from curiosity to amusement, embarrassment washed me white.
"That's not bad, am 19 too, but your so petite; I thought you might be 15 or so" she said.
"Seriously? I ain't that small girl" I thought...
She then continued:
"Are you free on weekends?"
I didn't know if it was visible but I panicked before answering:
" Yes...I am" .
Aivah's pov:
Looking at him I can tell he's extremely nervous so I don't know if u should continue the conversation or not but then I hit him with: "do you want to hangout on Saturday?".
I watched as his eyes widened, his ear twitched adorably before spoke almost like he whispered it: "Like a date?"
"Well if you put it like that...yes, a date, or do you not want to hang out with me?". I asked...
"I do, am just surprised you want to hang out with me" he muttered.
I chuckled before before patting his head "are you afraid I will kidnap you? Don't worry, I won't" I said amidst laughter.
His face turned red; just when I thought he wouldn't say anything he said: "I am not afraid...blah blah blah".
I stood up and gestured him to do so too, I walked him to his class all the way to his seat before leaving.
Immediately school closed I waited for Sean at the gate. Kingsley was being nosy, he wanted to know who we were waiting for; I told him to piss off.
A familiar scent breezed past me, I grabbed his arm; "are you just going to walk past when Ive been waiting for you?" I asked
Looking at his face I know he was avoiding me but he lied saying he didn't know I was there.
"Kingsley let's go" I shouted.
The walk home was awkwardly silent until Kingsley asked if Sean was a new friend which I answered: "nah am about to Court him" I said with a smirk.
He elbowed me and rushed to the front, I couldn't hear what he was saying but Sean was smiling; they both turned to look at me with inquisitive eyes; "what?" I asked.
Kingsley opened his shitty mouth to say: "stop shouting or you will scare him away"
