Naomi Kenway was woken by the chime of message notifications. She struggled to open her eyes, grabbed her phone from the desk, and unlocked it to see many friends from the industry celebrating the wrap of her filming.
Naomi Kenway pushed herself into a sitting position and tapped on the messages that had tagged her, replying to each one.
After she was done, she stretched languidly. Her eyes fell on the empty space on the bed beside her, and she paused for a moment. Getting up, she drew back the curtains. Warm sunlight flooded the room, and she realized it wasn't early anymore.
The bouquet of roses sat on a table in the center of the bedroom. The vibrant flowers bathed in the sunlight, their beauty enhanced by the glass vase beneath them.
Naomi Kenway wasn't sure if it was just her imagination, but she felt the bouquet looked even more beautiful than it had last night.
