Like a total fangirl, Peach's eyes were instantly glued to Aiden Shaw. She muttered under her breath, "He's so handsome, so easy on the eyes. LoriaLaura, why don't you just agree? It's not like you'd be losing out."
Laura Lowell reached out and gave Peach a hard pinch on her lower back. "Have you no shame?"
"You can't blame me. Dr. Shaw is just too good-looking. I'm hopelessly hooked and can't break free."
Peach straightened her back, speaking with righteous conviction.
Seeing his own brother approach, Ethan Shaw pretended not to know him and put on an act. "This… must be our Laura's boyfriend, right?"
The name "Laura" reached Aiden Shaw's ears, and his cool, indifferent eyes instantly frosted over.
Ethan Shaw saw his brother suddenly turn cold and had no idea what he had just said wrong. His mind raced.
