Nora's POV
Kevin stares at me with that blank expression he seems to have mastered. "Fun?"
"Yes, fun."
"I am an angel. I do not understand what humans might consider entertaining."
"Well, I doubt Heaven has a wine selection," I say with a chuckle, only to receive another emotionless stare. "Forget I mentioned it."
"What activities bring you pleasure?" he inquires, examining another book from the shelf. This one features a historical romance with a considerably more modest cover than the last.
"Television shows, novels, dining out, shopping, typical human activities." I lift my shoulders. "During my honeymoon, I spent countless hours lounging in the sunshine with a glass of wine. Pure bliss."
"You have an affinity for sunlight."
"Absolutely."
"Yet James cannot tolerate sunlight." Kevin's expression grows troubled.
