Boro was having a hard time accepting the fact that a young man like Conrad was saying to him like these things.
He felt that the man was not making any jokes or bluffing. But it still made him think that he was not respected.
Which would be right, as Conrad was not respecting him at all.
Elicia thought for a moment and said to Boro.
"I know what you think." Boro turned to look at Elicia and kept his silence.
Elicia added.
"You think that this punk is too much of himself and he needs a lesson," she smirked as she said.
Boro nodded while having some thoughts about that matter.
Elicia added.
"Under no circumstance am I going to fight with this guy."
"Even if we do attack him together, he can beat us both and then end the fight and the stage there."
Boro took a deep breath and looked at Conrad. Conrad was just smirking and waiting.
He did not say anything and just stood. This no response and just smirk from his face made him pretty angry, but Boro was not that dumb.
If he were dumb and not capable, he would not be here at the last stage.
"So."
"We do what he told us to do."
"Fight against each other to make him have his fun with us?"
Elicia shook her head.
"You are getting it wrong..."
Boro looked at the face of Elicia; this time he was confused. He was having a hard time understanding this woman.
Elicia noticed the look of confusion and then said it.
"He is giving us our chance to pass."
"If he wants to, the rules are not saying that he just cannot put two of us to sleep and pass by himself..."
"Considering that, one of us passing by fighting is a kind act from him."
Boro let out a cold breath and then looked one more time at Conrad and then nodded.
With understanding what was happening, Elicia and Boro got ready and then started fighting.
Elicia attacked with a kick, and Boro stopped it with his arms. He then jumped back and took a small pebble from the ground and launched it towards Elicia.
Elicia dodged right to not get hit by the pebble, more of a stone, but then she noticed it was a mistake.
"It was a distraction!" she thought. Boro then kicked towards her abdomen; she tried to block it and hit her arms, but she was a little bit late.
She blocked it partially but still got hurt.
She went down holding her belly.
Boro did not hesitate at all.
He again got ready to kick, this time the face of Elicia, but Elicia quickly dodged to the left and, with a smirk, punched the chin of Boro, who was not expecting a counter-attack from Elicia.
He stepped back as he held his chin, and his head was buzzing.
"You!"
"You cheated; you did not hurt that much from my kick."
Elicia smiled mischievously and said nothing as she launched and then climbed on the top of Boro, then put him into a chokehold in just seconds.
Boro tried to do everything he could to stop Elicia from choking himself, but it was clear that Elicia knew what she was doing.
After about seven to fifteen seconds, the power and resistance from Boro stopped, and his limbs went stiff as he was sound sleeping.
She looked at the examiners and assistants coming to the fighting area and checked on Boro.
"He has passed out." The assistant said as he looked at Lono.
"The Group Three winners are Conrad and Elicia."
"Boro is eliminated," Lono said and then nodded.
As he announced, Boro opened his eyes and then noticed that he was on the ground and let out a heavy breath.
"After all those things, I have still lost..."
"How could I lose..." He was having a hard time believing that he lost the fight against a woman in the last stage.
If he were not lost, he would be a hunter.
Elicia was happy and hopeful for her future; the fact that she won means that from now on she has passed the exam and will only be here to wait for others to finish their exams.
But the exam for her was over.
Conrad, on the other hand, yawned.
"Great..."
"Let's wait for them to finish and go back," he thought.
In no time, Group Four and Group Five finished, with their stage too finishing.
The airship came back, and then ten people entered the ship this time; other losers were just going to be dropped by the closest city with another airship and told to be eliminated.
In the big announcement area, Beans gave everybody that passed the exam their hunter licenses and explained what is to be gained with the licenses and other rules.
"Now."
"The 286 Hunter Exam is over, and there are ten more hunters."
"I congratulate all of you." "Beans," he said and then left.
Conrad looked at the hunter license he had in his hands and smiled. At that time, Nate came to his side and spoke.
"There is a secret exam for the people who pass the hunter exam."
"That is the existence and mastery of nen, but you already know about it."
"So, you are not obliged to take that exam and do whatever you want."
"Just do not tell anybody about the existence of nen and let them discover it on their own."
Conrad nodded.
"Yeah, I don't have any reason to tell it."
"Thank you."
With these words, Conrad quickly opened his phone and then made preparations to go back to the Heavens Arena, to his place.
