"She will ask what we discussed," I told him and he pulled the curtains together after making sure she had gone before facing me with a bright smile.
"You know what to say, Ruby. Many lies with a little dose of truthfulness to make it believable," he reminded me and I sighed and got up as I prepared to leave.
"Alright." I said and made my way to the door.
"One more thing, Ruby." He said and I faced him as my hand stayed on the door knob.
"Yes?"
I noticed he had a mischievous look.
"Twist her mind a little by telling her I have someone in mind for you to marry. That way, it will divert her focus," he wisely suggested.
"And who do you have in mind because she will want to know?"
"Percy," he answered almost immediately and grinned.
"What?!" I asked in shock.
