The mayor walked up to Luffy, who was petting a dog, and solemnly said, "Straw Hat Boy, I'd like to ask you for a favor." Luffy looked up and said calmly, "You want me to drive away the Buggy Pirates, right?" The mayor nodded, and Luffy added, "That's possible, but there will be a reward."
Nami was about to say something when the mayor excitedly said, "Sure, Straw Hat boy, as long as it's within my means, you can ask for anything." Luffy thought for a moment and said, "How about this, I won't ask for much, 10,000 Berries, and I'll help you drive away the Buggy Pirates, how about that?" The mayor excitedly replied, "Okay, Straw Hat boy, as long as you help me drive away the Buggy Pirates, I'll give you not just 10,000 Berries, I'll give you 50,000 Berries!"
Luffy nodded, "I'll take your request," and then said, "Let's go, Zoro, Coby!" They frantically grabbed weapons and rushed towards Luffy and his companions.Luffy simply said calmly, "Coby, it's yours."
"Yes, Mr.Luffy," Coby stepped forward, thinking to himself, "I can't always stand behind Mr.Luffy and Mr.Zoro." Taking a deep breath, Coby transformed his hands into blades and slashed at his opponents.However, it was Coby's first time fighting, and coupled with his unfamiliarity with his ability and lack of swordsmanship, he didn't defeat many.Coby looked at Luffy with shame and said, "Mr.Luffy, I'm sorry, I've disappointed you." Luffy smiled and said, "It's alright, Coby.Recognizing your shortcomings is also a motivation to become stronger.What you need to do now is not only to increase your strength, but also to properly develop your Devil Fruit ability.Leave the rest of the battle to me and Zoro."
