29: Chapter 29 Battle against Beast Tamer MochaLuffy and his two companions stared blankly at Nami blocking their way.Luffy sighed and rubbed his forehead, saying, "Which eye of yours saw us attacking it?" Nami retorted, "Then what are you doing standing here?And give me back the map right now!"
"It's none of your business what we're standing there for.Besides, I'll say it again: if you're willing to join us, I'll give this sea chart back to you," Luffy said with a shrug."You." Nami said angrily.Just then, an old voice came: "Who are you?Why are you here?" Luffy and the others turned around and saw an old man in heavy armor holding a rocket launcher, looking at them warily.Luffy was about to speak when Nami spoke first: "Hello, sir, my name is Nami.These people aren't good people, they're pirates."
Luffy rolled his eyes and said, "Grandpa, don't listen to her nonsense.My name is Monkey D.Luffy.Behind me are my crewmates.The one with the green hair on his head is Zoro.This pink-haired chubby guy is Coby.And who are you?"
The old man began, "I am the mayor of this dilapidated little town, and this little dog is named Ququ.He belongs to the owner of this pet food shop.This dog and his owner were very close; the owner watched Ququ grow up little by little.But one day, the owner suddenly disappeared and didn't return for a very long time.Ququ still guards the pet shop every day, waiting for its owner to come back.Actually, Ququ is very smart; it probably already knew that its owner didn't leave, but died and would never return.It stays here only to protect its owner's most beloved and precious legacy."

Just as Kobi was about to say something, Ququ barked wildly forward, its fur standing on end.A large lion was walking towards them, and as it drew closer, they could see that a person was sitting on its back.The person said, "So you were attracted here by the food in this pet shop, huh?"
The town mayor gritted his teeth and said, "That man is Mocha, the vice-captain of the Buggy Pirates." Mocha then said, "Ricky, eat as much as you want!" Ricky was about to pounce when Chuchu rushed in front of him, barking wildly.But Mocha said disdainfully, "A little beast dares to block my way?Kill it, Ricky!"
Upon hearing this, Riki immediately swung his large claw, swatting Chuchu away.Chuchu, however, didn't give up, charging forward again and again, only to be swatted away once more.Just as Chuchu was being swatted away once more, Luffy rushed out, catching the nearly fallen Chuchu in his arms, and said, "I understand your determination to protect you and your master.Now, leave it to me."

Luffy was engulfed in flames and slashed at Riki with incredible speed.In the blink of an eye, Riki was cut in two and fell to the ground, lifeless.Mocha, on Riki's back, slammed to the ground, terrified, and cried out, "You dare kill my Riki?Do you know who I am?"
Luffy rolled his eyes and said, "Who you are is none of my business." Before Mocha could react, Luffy clenched his fist and unleashed a powerful attack on Mocha.Luffy's fist struck Mocha instantly, and Mocha screamed as he was sent flying, landing unconscious on the nearby ruins.
