"Where is coups?" Woozi asked jeonghan while standing in a far off corner with him alone.
"He said he won't come" jeonghan told woozi earning a confused look from him.
"Don't ask me the reason because he didn't tell me any, all he said is he can't come"
"What the heck is wrong with him?'
"Did something happen between him and Tae? He never acted like that" Woozi said not understanding the reason behind his friends behaviour and so does jeonghan.
"Almost everyone has asked for him by now, except Taeyong. It's so embarrassing to answer them all and now If anyone ask me about him again I'll say go ask him yourself." jeonghan said feeling irritated with s.coups childishness making woozi chuckle at the older's state.
"Forget it, its there matter they will handle it themselves let's just enjoy" said jeonghan earning a nod from woozi before they both join the others who were busy talking with winwin and joshua mostly as they are seeing the two males after very long.
"The party is so dull, should we do something?"
Haechan asked seungkwan and jungwoo who looked at each other trying to come up with idea as indeed the party seems dull all the members were busy talking to each other which is absolutely normal but even among their voices the house look silent as there was no spark at all in compare to the blast they had on hoshi's birthday last month.
"Yerobun!!!" Coming out from their daze everyone looked around hearing hoshi's loud cheerful voice and as soon as the male appeared all of his friend's smiled knowingly and haechan and seungkwan feel the energy and excitement hoshi bought with himself as usual.
"Here he comes" Woozi rolled his eyes already imaging through the choas while feeling good to see hoshi finally showed up here otherwise even he felt something was just not fitting right here but woozi won't say it out loud.
"It's Taeyong's Birthday and you guys rather than blasting the music and singing your lungs out are talking like some old people who got no energy and fun toward life" Hoshi said moving toward the Bluetooth speaker placed in a corner connecting his phone to it searching the suitable playlist to play and after finding one hoshi first turned around with a knowing smirk before playing the music.

playing a song from fast forward hoshi intentionally did that to recieve some good reactions from everyone and indeed that cause almost all of them to laugh as the memory from joshua's birthday hit back.
And Doyoung cheeks flushing red in embarrassment start complaining but no one listened and the vocal line present there start singing the song with their hearts out and hoshi quickly grabbed taeyong's hand pulling him to dance with him.
Later joined by everyone and that's how the party actually kicked off with hoshi, dk, seungkwan, youngjae, haechan and Mingyu setting the mood of the party and the moment renjun showed up with the cake in front of taeyong they all dropped the song they were signing and instantly switched to singing a Birthday song with hitting high notes and harmonising with each other.
Hoshi and mingyu trying to hit high notes along with youngjae, dk, seungkwan and haechan got their voice broke terribly causing everyone to laugh hard at them with camera person ten and joshua recording it all.
Winwin who was sitting in a corner seeing how wild all of them has got the moment hoshi stepped up and how the party which was so normal and dull few moments earlier was filled with craziness.
All thanks to hoshi and even though winwin don't want to accept the fact he can't even deny the fact that hoshi indeed is the powerhouse and ball of energy who bring laughter and joy in dull moments by his crazy steaks.
"Oh btw!! we have got something to show you Taeyong-ah"
Hoshi said trying to calm everyone down before he signalled doyoung to play the messages they have recorded last night and doyoung quickly took out his phone and connect it to the TV.
And the moment seungkwan's face appeared all them besides the males who were present in the video starting complaining and cursing hoshi and others for not telling them about the video message things beforehand.
so that they could have prepared one too making hoshi smirked proudly before jayb asked everyone to quite talking so that they can hear what the messages were and everyone gladly followed.
"Hyuck just can't keep quite" Ten said chuckling while looking at the look seungkwan's passed to haechan when he interrupted him in the middle of his messages earning a curse from haechan but realising that Taeyong and woozi were glaring at him haechan smiled sheepishly earning few chuckled before jungwoo showed up on the screen.
And that's how everyone's message for taeyong played one after another receiving big reactions from all the males present here, hoshi, jungwoo, winwin, doyoung and renjun's message made everyone go soft specially renjun's who clunged into taeyong's arm when his message started playing.
And Haechan and jaein's message made everyone laugh including taeyong who laughed hard in surprise when jaein suddenly showed up on the screen complaining about there lack of contacts.
And once the video ended everyone appauld and taeyong almost teared up a bit hearing each and everyone's message causing renjun, hoshi, haechan, dk, seungkwan, jungwoo, ten and youngjae to give taeyong a big group hug leading other to smile softy and hence it proven once again that such soft things only happen during taeyong's birthday.
"If coups was here he would have complained non-stop about the messages and will engulf taeyong into a big hug when he teared up" Ten said to everyone when they all were sitting together enjoying the snacks renjun and jungwoo prepared not noticing how taeyong's smile disappeared.
Noticing taeyong's sudden change in mood jeonghan and woozi give ten a hard look making the male realised his mistake who apologised to taeyong quickly making the older male to shook his head in nothing.
"You guys are caring about s.coups and here I am getting jealous thinking about how many gifts taeyong hyung has received" dk said trying to ease the situation and it worked when taeyong chuckled getting off guard hearing Dk's comment.
"Don't act like you didn't recieve this much gifts on your birthday" Seungkwan said making dk scoff.
"I didn't because You and ten didn't bought me anything"
"Oh really? And what about when you forget to me buy me a present?" Ten asked feeling offended.
"Wait so is this why you didn't gave me anything? Woah chittaphon" dk said disbeliefed earning a pat on shoulder from Mingyu before taeyong had to divert Dk's attention before the male could get hurt more by what ten said as he knows Dk is one pure sensitive soul.
And the party went on for hours until everyone start disappearing one by one after winwin went out first. except hoshi, jeonghan, jayb and woozi everyone were heavily or midly drunk by now.
Joshua helping jungwoo in carrying doyoung back to his home and renjun carrying haechan back home was legit a choas in the corridor as they were keep on stumbling here and there but somehow managed to make it to the elevator.
Jeonghan and ten who were the last one to leave first helped hoshi in putting Taeyong to bed as the birthday boy himself had too much drink, and ten was too drunk too think straight, putting taeyong to bed.
jeonghan greet hoshi a goodbye before coming back into the living room to pick ten who was nowhere to see causing jeonghan sighed in distress, he is not worried about Ten's safety but is more worried about if he create a mess somewhere by talking shits like he usually do.
"I can do this all day~~~ no~~ I can do this all nighttttt~~ ouch!"
Ten who was busy walking down the corridor while keep on tripping on his balance winced his pain when his toe hit the huge Flowers pot placed in a side to maintain his balance ten took the support of the wall.
Unintentionally rang the doorbell of someone's house, finding the pressing of doorbell amazing, ten keep on pressing it like an exicted baby until the owner opened the door looking completely annoyed.
"Excuse me?" Ten tilted his head to his right side to see a male standing there arms crossed to his chest, to get his vision clear ten blinked his eyes and stood straight moving messily toward the male to get a clear view of him before his lips curved into a shy smile.
"Oh yuta-shi? Swadeenakhap!" Ten greeted the Japanese male in Thai manners before smiling sheepishly looking at the male in front of him without blinking making yuta uncomfortable who can conclude he is one of hoshi's friend and is highly drunk.
"You are so handsome" Ten said giggling like a child causing yuta to sigh if ten wasn't hoshi's friend yuta would have shut the door on the Thai male's face but he can't so he looked around to see if there is anyone else to handle ten but there was none.
"Like an anime character.... ohh! Why are you gorgeous?" Ten said throwing himself at yuta who put his hand over ten's upper waist area out of instinct helping the Thai male to stand straight who just put his arms around yuta's neck smiling beautifully.
"It's such a shame hoshi like you otherwise I would have hit on you" hearing ten's word yuta's brows raised at him in questioning manner to think that his guess is actually right about hoshi liking him.
"You know my friend is a bit stupid..... but.... he is one sweet soul with a good heart." Ten said trying to stand straight with yuta's help who smiled a bit hearing compliment about hoshi.
"So Mr. Yuta!" Ten said raising his index finger at the Japanese in a threatening manner which didn't fazed yuta a bit all he did was to pass ten a questioning look who smiled widely before putting his hand back at yuta's shoulder.
"Take care of my friend's heart and love him a lot otherwise I'll kill you" yuta chuckled softly hearing ten's threat and one more thing that warm his heart is to realise how close hoshi and his friends are to support each other like that.
"Oh! I don't know who is more lucky between you and him. Maybe you. Because he is my friend." Ten said pointing at himself with a proud look on making yuta nod a little in a teasing way but ten is too drunk to notice it.
"I wish hoshi didn't loved you so atleast we can have a chance to date and fu----- ten!!" Jeonghan who finally found ten rushed to him and put a hand to his mouth to prevent ten from something he shouldn't atleast not in front of yuta, who was a bit taken aback hearing the last word and he is not that naive to guess what ten mean.
"Sorry for all the shits he said to you by now. Take rest good night" jeonghan said smiling apologetically before pushing ten away from yuta holding him firmly to prevent him from falling down and yuta hummed before a question popped in his mind.
"Jeonghan?" Yuta called out the Korean male's name making him tilt his head a bit to see yuta properly.
"Where is Hoshi?" And jeonghan smiled softly of course yuta has to ask about hoshi.
"He is with taeyong. Will come after a few minutes I guess" yuta nodded to jeonghan answer before the male disappeared dragging whiny ten with him making yuta to chuckle softly at both of them before he look around and see hoshi coming out of taeyong's house slowly closing the door behind him.
Turning around to make way to his home the first thing hoshi saw was yuta standing there with a small smile causing hoshi's mood to drop as winwin's word came back in his mind.
Causing Hoshi to look away for a moment before getting a grip of himself and passed yuta a quick smile, before trying to walk passed the male which cause yuta to feel weird as he noticed the Korean male was not behaving in his usual self.
"How's was the party?" Yuta asked making hoshi stop before him who nodded in response looking at yuta without any expressions causing the Japanese to feel extremely uncomfortable.
"Btw what are you doing here outside?" Snapping back to reality yuta shook his head in nothing as he sees no point of telling what his friend was doing there with him few moments ago and hoshi having no energy to ask anything else quietly nodded before deciding to take his leave.
As standing in front of yuta was urging hoshi to let all his emotions out in front of the Japanese.
He wanted to ask questions to him which hoshi wasn't able to ask last night because his determination and strength both blow away the moment hoshi stepped inside the elevator to visit yuta and at last hoshi just ended up crying for hours last night.
Seeing the change in Hoshi's behaviour yuta felt worried and he quickly stopped hoshi from taking a further step by putting his arm over his, making hoshi gulp down the lump forming in his throat before giving yuta a questioning look.
"Are you ok?" Hoshi wanted to scoff at that question before brusting on the Japanese male in anger as this question made million of emotions brust inside his heart, the more he try to not to show sign of hurt by crying the more it get hard for hoshi as all drink he had at party was messing with hoshi's mind and wasn't helping a bit in easing his pain.
"Can you please stop being so nice to me? It hurts" Hoshi said feeling his eyes burning and tears start falling down from him eyes at a fast pace and hoshi quickly freed his arm from yuta's grip before hiding his face between his palms.
Yuta who have no idea about how to comfort a crying person stood there looking tensed, hurt and confused he never imagined he would see someone like hoshi crying in front of him, having no idea what to do yuta start rubbing hoshi's shoulder causing hoshi to sob louder before he start speaking without looking up.
"The alcohol isn't helping at all" Hoshi said in a low voice but was still audible enough to yuta who looked at hoshi utterly confused.
"Stop it" Finally looking up from his palms hoshi gently push yuta's hand away with his face looking completely red because of too much crying.
"Are you---- Don't ask me that question because I am not. And it's because of you." Hoshi said pointing his index finger at yuta who looked taken aback because of the Korean male's statement. Trying to remember what he did wrong for hoshi to say that yuta could think of nothing and hoshi looking at the confused male in front of him scoffed.
"Or maybe because of my own sensitive soul...or maybe because of winwin...ahh! I don't know who is at fault!" Hoshi said looking heavily frustrated while ruffling his hairs and yuta for a moment thought he heared winwin's wrong name and had to ask hoshi to make sure what he heared was real or just some brain malfunction to which hoshi smiled in a melancholic manner.
"Tell me one thing, if I proposed you today and tell you that I Love you." Hoshi said sounding serious while not breaking the eye contact with yuta who feel a shiver run down his spine hearing hoshi's word, even though the Japanese always know that hoshi have a minor crush on him or even something more yuta always declined that thought as he don't want to think too high but now when the Korean is saying himself saying this yuta don't know why but he feel weird.
"Would you tell me about you and winwin or not?" Feeling hesitant and awkward thinking that hoshi might probably be judging him for his past yuta looked away making hoshi to turn yuta's head back at him but by gently placing his fingers at the Japanese male's lower cheek making yuta shudder at the sudden physical intimacy.
"Stop looking away everytime I ask you a serious question.... Tell me would you or you wouldn't?"
Hoshi said not removing his fingers from yuta's cheek making the Japanese to look in his eyes and for a moment yuta felt himself getting lost in hoshi's deep orbs which were filled with tears making the Japanese to feel a pang in his heart.
Seeing how hoshi was looking at him waiting for answer made him look away as he himself don't know the answer to hoshi's question, he most probably would have tell hoshi about winwin and most probably would not because he don't see any point of talking about someone who has been long gone from his life.
"Do you still love him?" Hoshi asked once again after few seconds when he realised yuta won't answer his first question and hoshi's this question made Japanese male head to shot up at him who replied at the speed of light.
"No."
yuta said earning a soft unsure chuckle from hoshi who moves a bit close to the older male and put his hand which was first placed on yuta's cheek to his heart looking at it and so does yuta.
who wasn't uncomfortable a bit with hoshi doing skinship with him or standing close to him to a point that they can feel each other's breath on their faces but all these intimacy was making yuta hard to prevent himself from doing something he might probably regret later as even if yuta didn't confessed about his growing feelings for hoshi he know he is too falling for the Korean male hard.
"And... Do you love Me?" Hoshi asked in the most whispering tone possible before looking up at yuta with eyes filled with innocence, pain, hesitation and nervousness all at once cause yuta breath to stuck at his lungs when he saw hoshi's such look.
Not breaking the eye contact with each other for even a second both the males were trying to read all the emotions and answer kept hidden inside their hearts through each other's eyes specially hoshi. Who even though was drunk but can sense and understand how's yuta feeling.
The Japanese male was standing there without saying or reacting anything but his eyes were showing tons of emotions all of once. Thrill, Excitement, Desperation, love, pain and Fear? Hoshi didn't understand why and of what yuta was having fear of?
"Is it this hard to tell me your honest feelings yuta?" Hoshi asked gently, snapping the Japanese male back to reality who blinked for a second before noticing how he was holding hoshi's waist without him and hoshi realising, looking down at where yuta was looking hoshi sighed softly as he noticed yuta's grip on his waist was losing causing to feel the pain filling his heart again.
"Forget i---- I do." Hoshi looked up at yuta in surprise, not believing what he heared making yuta to say it again and to say it all what he kept hidden inside his great from a long time.
"I do, I really do love you from God knows when? Maybe when you helped that kid in the convenient store or maybe when you were yourself this busy with work but always managed to make sometime to talk to me to ask if am doing fine.
or if I ate anything or maybe when you drag me here and there with you to eat ice-cream and Ramyeon at unexpected time or maybe when you actually live up to your words and celebrated your birthday with me. I really don't know when I start falling for you and for your weird personality but all I know is I love you."
Feeling his heart being filled with too much happiness and emotions at same time hoshi didn't realised when his tears again start rolling down from his eyes until yuta gently wipe them off rubbing his hand soothingly at hoshi's baby like skin.
The Korean chuckled and yuta smiled looking at hoshi finally letting go of the past and accepting his present and maybe future too who is standing right in front of him with a baby smile on leading yuta to smile back before hoshi engulf him into a bear hug.
"I love you" yuta said with a true real smile being plastered on his face hugging hoshi tightly but not that much that if suffocate the Korean male who giggled.
"I love you too."
