Ricard stepped out of the car, his cold eyes sweeping over the gangsters approaching him. They stood in a long line, their gazes threatening and aggressive. Ricard knew he was facing a dangerous situation, but he had no other choice. This was not the first time he had faced people like this, and he was ready for whatever was about to happen.
Emma sat inside the car, her heart pounding. She could not simply sit still without knowing what was happening outside. Without hesitation, she lowered the car window slightly, just enough to listen. The sounds outside became clearer, and she heard the gangsters' mocking, provocative words.
"You've got a tough life, Ricard Anderson," one of the gangsters said, his sinister laugh ringing through the dark night. "We thought you'd blow up inside that car, but it looks like you survived."
