When Wolf saw that Law had calmed down, he slowly began to speak:
"Alright… now it's time for this old man to tell his own story.
Law, are you ready?"
Law silently nodded.
"Good," Wolf continued. "I think you already understand who I was and where I came from. I lived on the sea."
Law nodded again and said quietly:
"Wolf-san… you were a pirate."
Wolf smiled faintly and nodded.
"Well done, Law. You figured it out. That just shows how sharp your mind really is.
Now listen carefully. This old man was once part of the crew of a very famous pirate. A pirate so dangerous that even the World Government and the Marines feared him."
Law's eyes widened in shock. He interrupted without thinking:
"Then… you were part of the Pirate King's crew?!"
Wolf answered immediately:
"No."
Law didn't give up.
"Then you sailed under the Golden Lion, Shiki?!"
"No."
Law's eyes grew even wider.
"Don't tell me… you were one of Whitebeard's sons?"
Wolf suddenly raised his voice:
"Noooooooo!"
Law quickly calmed himself and thought for a moment.
"Then who? I don't think the World Government or the Marines are afraid of Big Mom or Kaido."
Hearing that, Wolf got furious and smacked Law on the head.
"Don't interrupt me, brat!"
After calming himself down, Wolf continued:
"My captain was a legend of the past. He fought against the Pirate King, the Golden Lion, and Whitebeard himself."
Just as he was about to continue, Law interrupted again:
"Let me guess… he lost to all of them."
Wolf nearly choked on his breath and hit Law on the head once more.
"You little punk! Stop interrupting me!"
Law rubbed his head in pain and finally stayed quiet.
"My captain was a truly dangerous pirate. His name was the pirate captain of the past—
'World Destroyer' Brandy World."
As he said that, Wolf raised both of his hands, like an excited child proudly shouting the name of his hero.
Wolf looked at Law, waiting for some kind of reaction—shock, fear, recognition… anything.
But Law only tilted his head slightly and asked:
"…Who?"
