In the Type-Moon world, where "King Arthur is a girl" is the correct history, Baiye remembered Morgan's image had shifted: her relationship with Artoria Pendragon went from half-sister to full sister, and she went from pure enemy to something like a twisted superfan—possibly with additional personalities stitched into her.
None of that mattered right now.
For Baiye's real purpose, Morgan was a perfect fit.
He didn't know whether she could grant Magic Circuits to an ordinary human. But the artificial life she created through magecraft—Mordred—was an established fact: in late Age of Gods Britain, Mordred could fire light-beam slashes and rank among the Round Table's best.
So Baiye was deeply satisfied with this result.
"With your level of ability," Baiye said, showing his Command Spells, "you shouldn't need me to supply the mana to maintain your incarnation, right?"
"I see." Through their contract, Morgan assessed him and nodded. "Correct. You only need to provide me with the 'qualification' to exist in this world."
"Good." Baiye gestured to Sakura behind him. "Then we'll talk more later. Let's wait for my ally to summon her Servant first."

Morgan raised an eyebrow at the girl who looked no older than five or six.
Baiye and Morgan stepped aside. Sakura approached the mercury circle.
"Onii-chan… should I write something too?" she asked.
"No. Just begin."
Baiye glanced at the "guaranteed pull" he'd just secured. "If this goes well, we won't even have to care whether we win the Grail War. So for your summoning, prioritize compatibility."
"Okay," Sakura said obediently.
She recited the incantation she'd memorized over and over. The circle brightened, and a Servant descended.
"Hehe~ I didn't plan on answering… but in the end, for one reason or another, I did," the petite figure in the circle said, smiling at Sakura. "Can't be helped—after all, the one who called is you."
"Hello. I'm Kama—the god of love. From today on, I'm your Assassin~"
"…Huh?!" Sakura squeaked.
Aside from hair and eye color, Kama looked exactly like her.
Behind them, Baiye froze too.
Wasn't it said that because of the word's origins, most Holy Grail Wars only allowed Assassins from the various generations of "Hassan"?
No—wait. That wasn't even the biggest issue.

Baiye still didn't know why Kama could be summoned, but he figured: if the sky truly fell, the Counter Force would hold it up. So after confirming Sakura felt fine, he decided to focus on what mattered to him most.
"Magic Circuits." Morgan repeated his request. "First, confirm something: in a world where you were born without Circuits, do you know what methods exist to obtain them?"
"As far as I know, two," Baiye said. "One: implant something with Mystery into the body. If you survive rejection, part of your body mutates into a Circuit over time."
"Two: direct bodily modification."
"Those are the best options, barring miracles that are essentially unreproducible." Morgan nodded. "So you're not opposed to modification?"
"As long as it's not disgusting like this," Baiye said, flipping open a section of Zouken's notes on using crest worms to remodel the body and pushing it across the table.
"Tch… there's an idea there, but the path is obviously warped," Morgan said, clicking her tongue in distaste.
"My method won't be that revolting, but I'll be clear: even if the process is 'normal,' it's still bodily modification."
"And since I'm incarnated as a Servant in a Grail War, unless you can keep me in this world, the modification must be completed before the war ends."
"With limited time and likely finite resources, even if it succeeds, the quality and quantity of the Circuits you gain won't be impressive."
She glanced at Sakura and Kama, who were holding hands like besties. "For example: the total mana output of all your Circuits might not even match what that child can generate from one or two lines once hers are opened."

Then she shifted tone. "Actually, if you truly don't care about quantity or quality, with your current condition, it's not hard to give you Circuits at all. And although there would only be three, their quality should be above average."
"Wait—seriously?" Baiye's eyes lit up. Then he snagged on a keyword. "Hold on… three?"
His gaze dropped to the three Command Spells on his hand.
