Roger stepped out of his palace and stood before his private garden, wanting to test his newly acquired abilities.
His enhanced strength was the result of many months of calculations and experiments to achieve success. Using his magnetic powers, Roger levitated three meters above the ground. After feeling the sensation of magnetic attraction, he didn't hesitate—he used magnetic propulsion to shoot up into the sky in less than two seconds!
Due to his rapid ascent, he pierced through the clouds, scattering them around him, and continued rising until he reached the ozone layer, where he stopped his momentum.
Roger looked down at Earth below, which appeared as a massive blue sphere stretching to the horizon. The view was breathtaking—you could feel space behind you and Earth in front of you. The scene was unimaginably beautiful; Roger spent two hours contemplating the view until he grew accustomed to it.
He then tried flying above the ozone layer at maximum speed. He decided to ascend because using such speed on Earth would cause destruction from the impact and friction—whether with the ground or air. Any path he crossed would be destroyed by the force of his speed. In the future, he would try to use magnetism to create his own bio-field to avoid affecting the outside world.
Roger covered a distance of more than 20,000 kilometers—roughly half the Earth's circumference—in just six minutes using only magnetic forces! If he added his suit and thermal propulsion, his speed would increase even more, but Roger was satisfied with what he had.
Roger returned to his palace at maximum speed and went to take a shower.
After finishing his shower, Roger sat at his dining table and began watching the news:
"Breaking News: Al-Ain Company launches new products, shocking the market once again and creating a breakthrough in the medical and mechanical fields."
"Breaking News: Al-Ain Company acquires more than thirty major corporations over the past week, most of them real estate companies."
Roger had been trying to control real estate companies to acquire a massive island isolated from the world, making it his private property and beginning construction on it.
"Sam!" Roger called for Sam, his personal butler, to whom he had given the fifth compound, granting him superpowers related to air—the ability to propel and control it. This made Roger want to keep him close, as he was unique.
Sam came to Roger: "What are your orders, sir?"
"I want you to arrange a secret meeting for me with military leaders and some congress members." Roger wanted to begin sowing discord and conflict between the military and Foot Company.
He would start by supplying the military with weapons that could threaten superheroes, making the government believe it could deter Foot Company. Behind the scenes, he would ignite the fire by sending a mind-controlled superhuman under his command via "Mind Ant" to assassinate several people opposed to Foot Company.
Then the government, or most of Congress, would believe this was a warning from Foot Company. When that happened, the government and all ministers would buy weapons targeting superheroes from him, paying billions to ensure their safety or feel secure. Most politicians care only about their lives and personal interests—they're ready to pay a fortune just to equip their personal guards with the most advanced technology.
In truth, Roger hadn't yet planted "Mind Ants" in the White House, the Security Council, or even the Justice Council because of Victoria Newman, who has the ability to communicate with blood. Roger suspected that if she sensed people's blood, she would discover the Mind Ants—a dangerous threat that would jeopardize his plans.
Roger didn't want his plans to fail or have any loopholes. He sat thinking about the "Victoria" issue when suddenly an idea illuminated his mind—he knew the right plan for her, but it would require more time.
