Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 Beating Dorian

Allen's voice was ice-cold, and he stood at the doorway with sharp eyes.

Dorian felt an invisible pressure rush over him, causing him to instinctively take a step back.

"Kid, who are you?" Dorian narrowed his eyes, trying to hide the unease in his heart.

Although Dorian didn't know why this monster suddenly returned to the dojo, he knew that this time he was probably closer to death than ever before.

Allen didn't answer, merely flexing his wrist lightly. His movements seemed casual, yet they made every hair on Dorian's body stand on end.

Allen slowly approached Dorian, each step seemingly landing on Dorian's heart.

"Wuwuwu..."

Just then, Dorian suddenly knelt, tears streaming down his face, covering his mouth with his hand.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." His tears dripped onto the wooden floor, and his shoulders trembled violently, making him look like a terrified coward.

But Allen, who knew the plot, was aware that the death row inmate Dorian was a treacherous and cunning villain, so he not only had to be on guard but also had to strike first.

"I... Ah!!!" Allen unleashed a heavy punch, interrupting Dorian's clumsy act.

Dorian's body flew backward like a rag doll, crashing heavily onto the dojo's wooden floor with a dull thud.

His nasal bone had completely collapsed, and blood gushed from his nostrils, staining his grizzled beard.

The intense pain made Dorian feel as if Allen had punched a large hole in his head.

"You... you little bastard..." Dorian struggled to get up, the fear in his eyes now replaced by rage.

He hadn't expected this seemingly frail youth to strike with such ruthlessness, giving him no chance to succeed.

Allen gave Dorian no chance to catch his breath. He flashed, then appeared before Dorian like a ghost.

His right leg whipped towards Dorian's abdomen like a lash.

"Bang!"

Dorian was kicked away, smashing through the dojo's wooden partition, and his entire body became embedded in the wall of the lounge, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.

"Cough cough... An excellent exchange, you are a superb fighter." Dorian grinned as he rose from the wooden wall, his bones making a 'crunching' sound.

A mad glint shone in his eyes: "Kid, you've successfully enraged me!"

He violently tore open his shirt, revealing his strong, scarred body, muscles bulging like steel.

Dorian took a deep breath, then suddenly drew a sharp dagger from his waist, its cold gleam flashing.

"Die!" Dorian's fighting style was primitive, like that of a beast, and the dagger was his claw.

Dorian believed this would intimidate the still-young Allen, making him lose his composure.

His limb muscles swelled and veins bulged as he lunged at Allen.

The dagger aimed for the throat, cutting through the air with a fierce whoosh, carrying a deadly killing intent.

But Allen sidestepped to the right, a flash of white light, and at the same time, a few strands of hair fell. Taking advantage of the gap in Dorian's attack, he turned his palm into a blade and precisely chopped Dorian's knife-wielding wrist.

"Crack!"

A crisp sound of bone breaking rang out. The strike was powerful and heavy, twisting Dorian's wrist at a grotesque angle.

The dagger clattered to the ground.

"Ah!" Dorian let out a painful howl.

But before he could even alleviate the pain, Allen had already grabbed his other arm and, using the momentum, slammed him heavily onto the floor with an over-the-shoulder throw.

"Boom!"

The terrifying force made the entire dojo tremble, and a large pit was smashed into the wooden floor.

Dorian felt as if his internal organs had shifted, and a mouthful of dark red blood mixed with fragments of his organs gushed out.

Allen did not stop. He stepped on Dorian's chest, looking down at the death row inmate from above.

"With just this much skill, you dare to cause trouble at the Shinshinkai?" Allen's voice was chillingly cold, containing deep killing intent.

Dorian struggled to get up but found Allen's foot like a thousand-pound boulder, pinning him down.

Beads of sweat the size of soybeans oozed from Dorian's forehead, and fear of death appeared in his eyes.

He had once thought he could face death without fear, and thus longed to experience the taste of defeat.

But when that day truly arrived, Dorian's reason was shattered by the fear called death.

"Wait... we can talk..." Dorian spoke with difficulty, blood continuously spilling from his mouth.

Allen sneered, then stomped down hard with his foot.

"Crack!"

Dorian's sternum broke with a snap. He let out a desperate scream, then his eyes rolled back, and he fell unconscious.

The entire dojo watched this scene in silence, all shocked by Allen's terrifying strength.

The members of the Shinshinkai looked at Allen with awe.

Allen withdrew his foot and turned to walk towards the unconscious Katsumi Orochi. He checked Katsumi's injuries.

After confirming there was no danger to his life, Allen slowly stood up and looked at the surrounding members.

"Call an ambulance, send them all to the hospital, and also call the Tokyo Police Department over."

"I'm going to eat," Allen said, then left the Shinshinkai dojo without looking back.

He straightened his slightly disheveled clothes and hurried in the direction of Kaiou Retsu.

It was as if the fierce battle just now had never happened, and Allen had truly only gone back to get something.

Kaiou Retsu still sat cross-legged calmly, his breathing steady.

Hearing footsteps, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at Allen with a hint of inquiry: "Solved?"

"Mm, a small nuisance," Allen replied nonchalantly.

The death row inmate, who even the Tokyo Police Department feared, seemed to him like an ant he had accidentally stepped on.

Kaiou Retsu smiled slightly and asked no further questions. He stood up and patted the dust off his clothes: "Let's go, that restaurant's Hunan cuisine is exceptional."

The two walked side by side on the streets of Tokyo when Kaiou Retsu suddenly spoke: "Allen, your strength is formidable, and your talent is terrifying..."

"You just lack a few things."

Allen looked at him sideways: "Oh? What do I lack?"

Kaiou Retsu pondered for a moment, then said: "Your Combat Intuition and reaction speed far exceed ordinary people, but your moves are too direct and lack variation."

"Chinese Martial Arts emphasize the balance of hard and soft, yin and yang. Perhaps you could try incorporating some flexible techniques."

Allen nodded thoughtfully. Kaiou Retsu's words hit home.

Although he had previously gained the upper hand in battles relying on his Combat Intuition and Fighting Genius, if he faced a true master, this singular offensive style might become his weakness.

"Senior Retsu, could you teach me some of the essence of Chinese Martial Arts?" Allen asked sincerely.

Although even if Kaiou Retsu didn't teach him, he could still secretly learn it.

Kaiou Retsu laughed: "Of course, but learning Chinese Martial Arts is not an overnight task; it requires time and patience."

"I can do it." Allen smiled slightly, glancing at his system panel. The progress bar for Fighting Genius had already reached 79%.

Once he had a complete Fighting Genius, learning any martial art would be as easy as pie for Allen.

He could even reach the level that others had painstakingly cultivated for over a decade within a few minutes.
