Allen and Baki walked out of the Underground Arena side by side, the evening breeze gently blowing.
Allen stretched his body, his joints making crisp sounds, as if to sweep away the fatigue of a full day of fighting.
"Allen-kun, what do you think of the strength of those death row inmates?" Baki turned to look at Allen, a little curious.
Allen had already dealt with Dorian, one of the five death row inmates, so asking him was the best choice.
"Very strong, but that's what makes it interesting." Allen's lips curved slightly upwards, and his fingertips lightly stroked his chin, as if he was savoring something.
Every detail he had observed earlier replayed in his mind.
The scent of blood and killing intent emanating from each death row inmate indicated that they were true monsters who had crawled out of hell.
Baki grinned: "I think so too." A flicker of excitement flashed in his eyes... At the same time, the Tokyo Police Department was in chaos.
Superintendent Matsumoto and others watched Spec punch through a reinforced concrete wall with his bare hands, just to return to his comfortable first detention room to sleep.
Their foreheads were covered in fine beads of sweat, and their pupils constricted.
The police officers exchanged glances, and finally, Matsumoto dejectedly took off his police cap.
"Anyway..."
"He's already back..."
"Report the incident truthfully to our superiors."
... The second night after Mitsunari Tokugawa announced the start of the fights.
On a path in the park, Baki and his girlfriend Kozue strolled hand in hand, their fingers intertwined.
Not far behind them, a bald giant over two meters tall, with his hands in his pockets, his mouth twisted upwards, and his eyes narrowed into slits, watched the two with a lecherous expression.
"Hee—!"
This bald giant was Spec, one of the five death row inmates.
He looked at Baki's back, eager to try, his pupils dilating.
Spec licked his lips, a dangerous glint in his eyes.
He silently followed Baki and Kozue, like a patient, lurking beast.
"Looks like tonight will be a good night," he muttered to himself.
"Baki-kun, the moon is so beautiful tonight," Kozue looked up at the starry sky, a happy smile on her face.
"Mm..." Baki responded distractedly, the scent from her nose making him a little flustered.
The two walked leisurely along the park's streets, while Spec followed closely, looking for the best moment to strike.
And behind Spec, another figure followed.
Allen, dressed in a simple black training suit, followed Spec unhurriedly, playing with a leaf that had fallen from a tree in his hand.
He originally didn't want to interfere in this fight, but Allen had spent the whole day wandering the streets today and hadn't seen any death row inmates come looking for him.
So he could only go to the park where the death row inmate Spec would appear in the plot, to play with him.
Allen stood in the shadow of a tree in the park, his gaze fixed on Spec not far ahead.
This death row inmate was stealthily following Baki and his girlfriend Kozue, clearly preparing to launch a sneak attack.
"Why isn't he making a move yet...?" Allen watched the dawdling Spec, his brows furrowing involuntarily.
He didn't want to make the first move, but wanted to surprise the other party just like Spec.
"You..."
"Are the first person, besides my mother, who I've admired," Baki suddenly turned to look at Kozue, a glimmer in his eyes.
Under the moonlight, Baki cupped Kozue's face, and the young man's tenderness was reflected in the girl's brown pupils.
The two gazed at each other for a moment, then embraced and kissed.
Just then, Spec moved.
He suddenly accelerated, charging towards Baki and Kozue like a beast.
His movements were swift yet silent, clearly intending to severely injure Baki with one blow.
"Swish!" Spec's muscles bulged as he exerted force, attacking the two, leaving four shallow indentations on the concrete.
Baki noticed the disturbance, his muscles tensed.
Just as he was about to interrupt this tender moment, he saw Allen behind Spec.
Allen gave him a thumbs up, then, at this critical moment, appeared at Spec's side with astonishing speed.
A fierce whip kick struck Spec's waist.
Baki also timely covered Kozue's ears with his hands, closed his eyes, and continued to embrace and kiss the girl in front of him.
"Bang!"
Spec was intercepted in mid-air, and his entire body flew out like a cannonball, crashing heavily into a tree trunk in the park.
The thick tree trunk snapped in response.
He lay on the ground groaning in pain, struggling to get up, his eyes filled with shock and anger.
"Who... who ambushed me!" Spec roared as he got up from the ground, blood overflowing from the corner of his mouth.
He glared fiercely around, finally locking onto Allen, who stood not far away.
Allen stood with his hands in his pockets, looking at him with a mischievous smile: "Is ambushing a lot of fun?"
Spec narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing Allen: "Kid, are you looking for death?"
Allen didn't answer, just pointed into the distance, indicating they should go somewhere else to fight.
Baki and Kozue's kiss finally ended, the girl's face flushed, and she shyly said:
"It feels... suddenly so quiet..."
... In an open space in a park, Allen and Spec faced each other.
"It's you, kid."
"I always feel so happy," Spec rotated his shoulders, making a "crack-crack" sound, a dangerous glint in his eyes.
"You're also very good at sneak attacks."
"Perhaps because I haven't had much formal education, I don't think there's anything wrong with a sneak attack."
"But, kid, do you know that interrupting someone's hunt is very impolite?" He licked his lips, revealing a ferocious smile.
"It looks like you should be the youngest of those four."
Allen didn't answer, just slowly assumed a fighting stance.
His movements seemed casual, but they made Spec feel an invisible pressure.
The space around him seemed to twist, and the powerful oppressive feeling made Spec suddenly remember that this young man in front of him was the ruthless person who had brutally defeated Dorian without injury.
Spec's forehead was covered in sweat, but he wouldn't back down now.
"Hmph! An ignorant brat." Spec sneered, then suddenly burst into action.
His massive body left afterimages in the air, his right fist whistling as it aimed directly for Allen's face.
Allen's Combat Intuition had already warned him.
He slightly turned his body, easily dodging the punch, while his right hand struck out like lightning, hitting Spec directly in the abdomen.
"Bang!"
"Ugh!" Spec grunted, retreating several steps.
He couldn't understand why the power from this seemingly slender young man's fist could be so astonishing.
"Interesting..." Spec licked his lips, the fear in his eyes gradually replaced by fighting spirit.
He raised both hands, slowly clenching his fingers into fists.
"Kid, my fists and feet..."
"Once truly destroyed a god!"
"The Statue of Liberty in the United States was completely shattered by me." As he said this, a smile appeared on Spec's face.
"This is my Breathless Barrage."
"Can you, kid, withstand my full power?"
"Let's find out!"
