Chapter 258 - Rina's entry

The "Unknown Variable" Arrives: Rina's Entry

[Author's POV]

The baby shower was reaching peak energy when the heavy oak front doors opened one more time. A girl stepped in, looking like a 1,000% "Soft Aesthetic" contrast to the sharp, high-definition Watson power. It was Rina, the mysterious writer who had been sending handwritten letters to Keigan for months—and occasionally to Jay to check on the "Heirs."

The room went quiet for a microsecond. Keigan, who was usually a walking encyclopedia of logic, dropped his tablet. His "System" didn't just glitch; it went into a Total Kernel Panic.

The Teasing Protocol: [Jay's POV]

I saw her first and a devious, 2,000% "Matchmaker" smile spread across my face. I nudged Bridget, who immediately put down her tactical clipboard, her eyes narrowing with predatory glee.

"Target acquired," Bridget whispered. "Is that the 'Analog Girl' Keigan's been 'Processing'?"

Mamma Serina glided over, her eyes sparkling. "Oh, she's lovely! Keigan, darling, your face is currently 1,000% red. Is there a 'Data Leak' in your composure?"

The "Girl Squad" Ambush: [Author's POV]

Rina barely had time to say hello before the "Empress Squad" descended. They formed a circle around her, leaving a very flustered Keigan standing on the outside.

Ella: "So, you're the one sending the 'Snail Mail'? In 2026? That's 1,000% iconic. How do you even find stamps?"

Freya: "And the handwriting! Keigan showed us one of the envelopes—he was analyzing the ink-to-paper ratio like a total nerd, but we know he just likes the 'Vibe'."

Rakki: "Is it true you sent a letter specifically asking about the 'Double-Heir' heartbeats? That's so sweet! Keigan spent three hours 'Verifying' the medical data to write you back."

Mica: "He's not 'Official' yet, Rina, but he's already 'Synchronized' his heart rate to your delivery schedule!"

Rina blushed, clutching her small vintage bag. "I... I just think some things are better expressed through ink than 'Instant Messaging'."

Keigan's "System Failure": [Keifer's POV]

I stood by the buffet with Pappa Keizer, watching my brother struggle. He looked like he wanted to "Alt-F4" out of the room.

"Look at him," Pappa grumbled, though he looked amused. "A Watson who can't find his words because of a girl with a fountain pen. 1,000% embarrassing."

"He's 'Buffering', Pappa," I noted. "He's never dealt with 'Non-Digital' affection before."

I decided to help—or make it worse. I walked over, placing a heavy hand on Keigan's shoulder. "Keigan, your 'Primary Connection' has arrived. Are you going to initiate a 'Greeting Protocol', or should I have Bridget 'Escort' her to the library where your letters are 'Archived'?"

"They aren't 'Archived'!" Keigan squeaked. "They're just... organized by date!"

The Final Roast: [Jay's POV]

I waddled over, taking Rina's hand. "Don't mind them, Rina. The Watsons are 1,000% intense. But Keigan is the worst—he's been 'Nesting' with your letters more than I've been nesting with the nursery!"

Mamma Serina leaned in, whispering loud enough for everyone to hear. "He even bought a 'Specialized Filing Cabinet' just for your correspondence, dear. If that's not 'Official' in Watson-speak, I don't know what is."

"MAMMA!" Keigan groaned, finally moving to Rina's side. "Can we please just get her some cider and stop 'Analyzing' my romantic 'Metadata'?"

"Not until we see a 'Hand-Holding' sync!" Bridget shouted, making the whole university squad cheer.
